Add low dose intranasal ketamine to the list of drugs that you can develop an unexpected dependency on - that happened to me a few years ago. Very, very unpleasant. I am still in chronic pain but basically just manage to live my life mostly without drugs. I take a Tylenol here and there, and enjoy a <2g dose of kratom in tea maybe twice a week. Other than that it's somatic therapy, meditation, exercise, hydration, diet, and just ignoring the hell out of the pain. I'm IN pain because of a trauma history, and drugs can't fix that.
