Update to the Update

I’m not sure what y’all know, but this weekend I was in the ER. I had been suffering from intense pelvic pain and my partner convinced me to go. I’ve been diagnosed with a fibroid on my uterus. Which it’s good I know now (I’ve named it Boris to my uteruses Natasha). I’ve been put on bed rest due to anemia and I’ve been thinking.

I want something to look forward to, and something I love if the mail outs. I love seeing comments about them, when people receive them, and even packing them.

I’ve decided to go back against my decision to skip January and will be doing a mail out that will bring me some joy along with all of you. In the next few weeks as I go through doctor’s appointments and possibly new medication, I want to enjoy something with all of you. You who mean the world to me, who allow me to create and do what I love most. This Patreon is my early piece of heaven, and y’all feel like my angels most days. I can’t begin to tell you all what you mean to me, your support has allowed me to live a dream I thought I’d never see.

While I heal both mentally and physically from this, I want to share with you so much. Next month I’ll be posting stories I posted when I first started writing, stories that you may or may not know. They are my beginning, my foundation, and it’s important I share that with you all. (As well as protecting them.)

I’m excited to see what you will say about this stories. How much I’ve grown, where my origins lie, how silly things are, and so on and so forth. You’ll see the beginnings of Obresh and the Ruby Empire, Hearthway Hollow, and more. They were inklings back them, whispers of what they would be. It’s wild to look back upon. 2017 feels like a lifetime ago.

Anyways, I just wanted to share what was happening, where my mind has been, and that you all have been at the forefront of my thoughts. Because without you, I wouldn’t be anything.

Comments

Fellow anemic here. The weakness from it really sucks... When I was in the hospital your stories always brought a smile to my face. Maybe your doctor already suggested this, but my blood doctor told me to eat cream of wheat. She says it's one of the easiest ways iron can be digested. If it's bad enough sometimes they prescribe iron infusions? I've been chronically anemic most my life. The infusions changed everything. They really did. I'm sorry if all this is stuff that you might already know. Anemia can be hard to treat and I say all this full of well meaning. I wish you all the healing!

Wishing you a speedy recovery ma’am. <3
