Continuing the trend of really pretentious titles, here's the latest page.
Patreon seems to limit image width now, so you can view the full size page here.

---------------------------------------------------
It's more like a page and a half really - I included part of what was to be the next page here both because it seemed to make for better storytelling and because, for a short part of early July, things'll be a little quiet here.  I'll be traveling to San Diego for Comic-Con (and, with any luck, will meet some of you there).
I'll try to get some preview art or playing card art up regardless, and I'll squeeze in a livestream before I go.

Your portrayal of light in this comic just keeps getting better and better. So amazing.

That's a beautiful landscape, Tracy.

Phenomenal- the whole thing is just gorgeous to look at from every possible angle. The story is great, the art is amazing, and the layout for the panels is simply stunning. I could gush more, but I'll save that for those more eloquent than I. Marvelous work as always Ms. Butler, thank you!

Beautiful, just beautiful! The play of light throughout really sets the mood. Love it!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! It means a great deal hearing that you enjoy these updates.

Tracy Butler

Amazing work once again. I love the subtle reflection of Mordecai in the window on the train. I just love your portrayal of young Mordecai as well this is all so beautiful!

Sam Stump

Damn. I love this comic more and more with every post...and I started out loving it. So very awesome. It's like Firefly...I love all the characters unconditionally.

Loa of the crossroads. It's touching and illuminating. I knew Mordecai would connect with his 'talents' soon, but by drawing it out a few more panels you get a feel for the boy ceasing to be, and the man coming into existence. There's a remarkable visual sophistication here as well, with all these permutations of seeing and being seen going on. Some axes are marked by light, and some by line. It all ends up being a reminder of what one person can do, whether it's with a pencil or something a little more permanent. Thank you for sharing this with us, and safe travels.

I can't get over the gorgeous warm / cool contrast you're wielding. It's so pleasant to look at- and the fantastic art-deco latticework that begins creeping in on the lower left... Beautifully done.

David Lillie

OHH MAN, that's so brilliant. At first I thought their meeting was ending a little lackluster, I felt almost as dissapointed as Mordecai, then I saw what he saw and pretty much derailed. That Atlas is as smooth as Satan's silky undershorts.

This is great news! Every year we go over to 4DE to see if Tracy is there and almost always are we disappointed. But not this time. I'll bring cookies! Also thank you for the gorgeous comic. That's nice too. ^ ^
