Badge Update: Thalee!

This week has been pretty busy for me. I've been spending a lot of my free time cleaning and trying to get our spare room prepped and turned into an office. Yesterday I took a trip to Ikea (which is about 2 hours away) and picked up the furniture I needed. All that's left is to clear out some old furniture and build the new items. Then the fun part comes.. decorating!

I had a pretty slow start art-wise this week. I may have burnt myself out a tad, so I didn't get as much done as I had hoped. When this happens, I tend to focus my energy on non art related tasks.

Thalee's badge has been my main focus this week in the small amount of time I've been able to paint. I'd say she's about 75% done in this stage! I have yet to merge the layers, so you're still about to see the sketch layer here for the most part.

For the most part, all the badges of this group are close to done except one! I've been a bit bad at posting these this year. I haven't done the final edits of the badges themselves yet. I'm planning to just get them all done and then edit them into the frames all at once. I'll try and post some more close up and progress pictures of them here for you all soon. :)
