Hi,
today I coded the uniform progression system (starting with T'Ris). I also made sure that those players who start from resume point also see the stepwise progression.
Here is how it works:
Screenshot shows T'Ris on the bridge in one variation. I'll start out with three variations for T'Ris, which means a bunch of new sprite renders ( 3x bridge, 3x mess, 3x quarters). Fortunately the code already is prepared for layered conditional sprites.
I think this will add greatly to the immersion / progression feeling
