Holy crap, it's finally done. Page 431, going up publically tomorrow. It's been a very long and arduous time coming, but it's complete.
I'm not entirely sure how much I have to say about the comic in the typical behind-the-scenes fashion I include with these updates, considering the length of time it took to get this out. I guess I can say that that restaurant was a huge mistake, city street scenes are in general a mistake, and much of the time I wish I had the wherewithal to have not started including things like shading or proper backgrounds back in the day. Oh well, again, whenever we get to the Kale arc next, there's just going to be a bunch of grass, some trees, and a couch to draw for a background for a long time, so just need to push until then.
Also I suppose I'll mention that I actually dialed back Connor's injuries, in that I was gonna give him a much nastier-looking swollen black eye to heighten the absurdity of these injuries coming from just falling down over and over on skates, but drawing the eye actually swollen looked like too much, so I just gave him a pretty normal bruise under his eye instead. Still silly and sad, but not overly so.
Again, thanks for all your patience and pledged support over these past months. I can't really promise to know how things go from here, but hopefully better instead of the same or worse.
