After taking a peek at that someone's personal diary, she suddenly notices a ghost approaching, via the ectoplasm gathering on the back wall! She has only a few seconds before someone enters; what will she do next?

I can't think of much of a solution. Though maybe we can threaten to drop her book in the fireplace? Even if Grazzy pops, it would fall in anyway. And I think ash would ruin the text of a book as well.
