Looking Ahead to 2026 (The Adventurer)

Hello everyone!

I’ve just returned from my holidays, and starting this afternoon I’ll begin replying to all pending messages. I hadn’t taken proper holidays since the Patreon began, and I really needed them — sorry for the recent disconnection.

We’re wrapping up the first year of the adventurer, and I think it’s the perfect moment to take stock together.

Looking back, the most successful months have undoubtedly been those dedicated to the mini collections of gladiators and musketeers. So much so that both will almost certainly get an expansion next year.

Right now, we’re working on the final Anglo-Saxon month, which will mark the end of the Heptarchy range.

For the rest of this year, we have one month set aside for the Varangians and the start of the Late Roman range.

Looking ahead to 2026

Confirmed: one month expanding gladiators (doubling single-model options and completing missing ones) and another expanding musketeers.

Continuing: the Late Roman range until it becomes fully playable.

From there, we have several paths to choose from:

Arthurian Britons: adapting some Late Romans to naturally link with the Viking range.

Late Anglo-Saxons: moving up to the Norman invasions, which would almost connect us to an early Crusader or Reconquista range.

Dark Ages: except for some exceptions, it doesn’t seem to make much sense to keep developing entire ranges. Most models can already be achieved with what we have sculpted. A single month per faction for iconic pieces and heads might be enough — but a full 4–5 month development feels excessive at this point.

And of course, there’s always room for new ranges:

Personal favourites: Sengoku and Classical Greece (which would then lead into Alexander’s Macedonia).

For mini collections: the American Old West is very tempting for a one-month foray.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions, especially if you have ideas we haven’t considered yet.

Acabo de volver de mis vacaciones y, a partir de esta tarde, empezaré a responder todos los mensajes pendientes. No había tenido unas vacaciones dignas de tal nombre desde que empezó el Patreon, y me hacían mucha falta. Perdonad la desconexión.

Estamos cerrando el primer año de El Aventurero, y creo que es buen momento para hacer balance juntos.

Si miramos hacia atrás, los meses más exitosos han sido, sin duda, los dedicados a las minicolecciones de gladiadores y a los mosqueteros. Tanto es así que, con toda probabilidad, ambos tendrán una ampliación el año que viene.

Ahora mismo estamos trabajando en el último mes anglosajón, que pondrá punto final a la gama de la Heptarquía.

Para lo que queda de este año, tenemos previsto un mes para los varegos y el inicio de la gama tardo-romana.

Mirando hacia 2026

Seguro: un mes para ampliar los gladiadores (duplicando modelos únicos y completando opciones) y otro para ampliar los mosqueteros.

Continuaremos: el desarrollo de la gama tardo-romana hasta que sea plenamente jugable.

A partir de ahí, se abren varias opciones:

Britones artúricos: transformar parte de los tardo-romanos para enlazar con la gama vikinga de forma natural.

Anglosajones tardíos: avanzar hasta las invasiones normandas, casi enlazando con una gama de reconquista o cruzados tempranos.

Edad Oscura: salvo excepciones, no parece tener mucho sentido continuar gamas enteras; la mayoría de modelos pueden lograrse con lo ya esculpido. Un mes por facción para piezas y cabezas específicas podría bastar, pero 4-5 meses de desarrollo me parece excesivo ahora mismo.

Y, por supuesto, siempre está la posibilidad de nuevas gamas:

Por gusto personal: Sengoku y Grecia clásica (que llevaría después a la Macedonia de Alejandro).

Para minicolecciones: el Oeste americano nos tienta mucho para una incursión de un mes.

Me encantaría escuchar vuestras opiniones y sugerencias, especialmente si hay ideas que aún no hemos contemplado.
