🚧 JULY: THE ROLLING FORTRESS OF VALCASTA

“Where others build castles, Valcasta makes them move.”

The High Kingdom did not simply impose its law—it redefined the art of war. Under the reforms of Thaldrien Arcadius, architect of the doctrine of steel and gunpowder, the dream of a moving bastion became reality.

Thus were born the Rolling Fortresses.

Their construction was a shared feat. Marenstadt supplied the naval-grade hulls, drawn from centuries of expertise in shipbuilding and armorcraft. From Grelmark came the engineering schematics and power systems—steam-driven mechanisms of traction and pressure, built to carry tons of armored mass across broken terrain. And in Valcasta, the whole was assembled: cannons, gunports, crest-mast, and the iron seal of a kingdom that does not retreat.

This miniature is more than terrain. It is a centerpiece—the most complex project we’ve ever designed. Sculpted at the level of a character model, it stands ready to dominate battlefields and painting desks alike.

El Alto Reino no solo impuso su ley: redefinió el arte de la guerra. En tiempos del Thaldrien Arcadius, arquitecto de la doctrina de acero y pólvora, surgió la idea de un bastión móvil capaz de llevar el poder de Valcasta más allá de sus fortalezas.

Así nacieron las Fortalezas Rodantes.

Su construcción fue una hazaña compartida. Marenstadt proporcionó el casco, basado en estructuras navales reforzadas, herencia de su tradición armamentística. Desde Grelmark llegaron los planos y sistemas de propulsión: mecanismos complejos de vapor y tracción capaces de mover toneladas de acero. Y en Valcasta se ensambló la máquina entera, con sus cañones, troneras, mástil y blindajes remachados a mano.

Esta miniatura no es escenografía. Es una figura central, el proyecto más ambicioso que hemos creado hasta la fecha. Está tallada al nivel de una miniatura de personaje, lista para dominar cualquier campo de batalla... o mesa de pintura.
