The Sea os Ashes

No one knows how or when the Sea of Ashes emerged. It is a lawless land, a dark spot on the horizon west of the civilized world.

Sages and wise men will tell you it has always been there, maybe that part is true.  The truth about the Sea of Ashes can only be heard in feint whispers and dark alleys. It is growing...  more poignantly encroaching and engulfing the villages west of Avernia turning them into desert and ash.

 It IS expanding, and its approach is inexorable.The desert of ashes slow creep of doom is not all the evils this dark land possesses. This dark spot has raiding parties that emerge from it, burning and ransacking villages. 

Some recount HUGE disciplined warriors, others tell stories of wild barbarians. There is no doubt the Sea of Ashes and its evils are becoming bolder and bolder with each sunset.Perhaps very soon, Avernia will have to fight more than skirmishes to defend its territory.

Nadie sabe cómo ni cuándo surgió el Mar de las Cenizas. Es una tierra sin ley, un punto oscuro en el horizonte, al oeste del mundo civilizado.

Los sabios te dirán que siempre ha estado ahí y puede que sea cierto.  La verdad sobre el Mar de las Cenizas sólo se puede escuchar entre susurros y en callejones oscuros. Está creciendo... más conmovedoramente invadiendo y engullendo los pueblos al oeste de Avernia, convirtiéndolos en desierto y ceniza.

Se está expandiendo y su aproximación es inexorable. El desierto de ceniza que se arrastra lentamente hacia la perdición no es todo el mal que posee esta oscura tierra. Esta mancha tenebrosa cuenta con partidas de asalto que surgen de ella, quemando y saqueando aldeas. 

Algunos relatan a guerreros disciplinados y enormes, otros cuentan historias de bárbaros salvajes. No hay duda de que el Mar de las Cenizas y sus males se vuelven más y más audaces con cada puesta de sol. Quizá muy pronto Avernia tenga que luchar, más que realizar simples escaramuzas para defender su territorio.
