<< Winter Adventure with Giantess Ryung - part 1 >>

The infinite darkness of space was broken only by the sparkling ice chunks of the asteroid field. The Starverna, flagship of the fleet, glided through the frosty nebula, accompanied by smaller ships clinging to its course like desperate birds. On the command bridge of the Starverna, tense silence reigned.

"Captain Phana, the shields have dropped to 42 percent!" reported a technician with a trembling voice.

Phana, a wiry woman with short, dark brown hair and a steely gaze, folded her arms across her chest. Her uniform was immaculate, but her face bore the strain of the past few days. "How is this possible? This asteroid field shouldn't pose any problem."

"We've detected anomalies in the energy supply, Captain," an officer explained. "Something in this sector is draining our power."

At the helm, Nervon, the muscular pilot, slammed his fist on the console. "This can't be happening! Our energy-level falls rapidly! We're sitting ducks here, damn it!" His face was drenched in sweat.

Phana's voice was a steady anchor in the chaos. "Pull yourself together, Nervon. We still have enough power for an emergency landing. Find a suitable planet."

"A... suitable planet?" Nervon stared at her as if she'd lost her mind. "Out here, there's nothing but ice and death!"

A signal tone interrupted their argument. On the screens, an image of a nearby planet with an almost entirely white surface appeared.

"This is our only option," Phana declared decisively. "Send the command to all ships: emergency landing on the ice planet."

+++

The landing was a disaster. Ice chunks battered the overburdened ships, tearing entire sections of their hulls apart. The Nebulon, one of the escort ships, spiraled into the atmosphere and skidded across the icy surface like a wounded bird before vanishing into a snowstorm.

Inside, Tephno, a lanky teenager, clung to the armrest of his seat. His parents held him protectively as the ship shuddered violently. "We’ll make it, we’ll make it..." his mother murmured more to herself than to him.

Finally, the ship came to a halt. Steam and sparks burst from broken consoles, and the metallic groaning of the wreck sounded like a mournful sigh. Tephno cautiously freed himself from his parents' grasp and peered out of the small window. White, endless snow stretched out to the horizon.

"It looks... kind of beautiful..." he whispered, a spark of adventure gleaming in his eyes despite the looming threat.

+++

Meanwhile, the survivors of the Starverna gathered on the main deck. The storm howled mercilessly around the heavily damaged ship. Phana stood tall, her voice firm.

"We have the most important thing: our lives. Now we must act before the energy runs out completely. Gather supplies, check for injuries, and prepare to explore the ice in small groups. We need to locate the other ships."

Nervon stepped forward, still pale with fear. "Captain, it's minus 40 degrees out there! We'll freeze to death! No one can survive that!"

"You'll stay here, Nervon. You did a good job with the landing. Now rest," she said firmly before turning to a technician. "We have some spacesuits onboard, don't we? Gather and inspect them to see how many are intact. Then I want a small exploration team at my side."

The technician stared at her. "What are you planning?"

Phana took a deep breath. "We need to send a distress signal and hope it doesn’t reach the wrong audience... But in case no one hears it, we must prepare to survive on this planet for a long time. It’ll be tough unless we find a source of energy or heat—and that as fast as possible!"

Outside, the wind howled, a forewarning of the challenges to come.

+++

On the Nebulon, chaos reigned. Without a captain and with communication to the Starverna cut off, the inexperienced crew descended into panic. Voices rose, and arguments erupted as no one knew what to do.

Franko, a young and arrogant junior officer, pushed his way through the agitated crowd and entered the bridge.

The injured pilot stood up and said, "Hey! You can’t just barge in here! Bridge personnel only!"

Franko retorted sharply, "I'm not going to just sit here and freeze to death!" He marched to the weapons cabinet, grabbed a few rifles, and fired at the pilot - pulverising him instantly. Then he turned the gun on the rest of the crew while snatching some space suits. "No one follows me. My family and I are leaving. You stay here."

The crew froze in shock as more people entered the bridge. Franko and a few allies, along with his family, began suiting up. Without another word, they left the bridge and opened the airlock on the front side of the ship. Then they disappeared into the white hell of the storm.

Tephno had watched everything. "Mom, was… was that a mutiny? And they… they’re leaving us here? Without space-suites?"

His mother held him close. "Stay calm, Tephno. Everything will be fine. We’ll figure something out." But in truth, neither she nor anyone else had any idea what to do.

And nobody knew what Franko’s plan was. Nobody realized that the sensor officer had detected an energy source nearby. But fearing it wouldn’t be enough for everyone, Franko had decided to leave with only those he cared about.

+++

Outside, Franko’s group trudged through the dense snowstorm, visibility reduced to mere meters. Then the ground trembled… The vibrations started softly but grew stronger with every tremor. "What is that?" one of the men whispered nervously.

Franko raised a hand. "Quiet! It’s probably… nothing." But his gaze betrayed uncertainty. It could be that the energy source was a volcano or something similar. That would be dangerous, but at least it might provide warmth.

However, it was something entirely different. Something he could never have imagined.

Then, without warning, a deafening booom split the air, and the tremors grew so powerful that they all fell to the ground. A shadow loomed over the group. Only when it was too late did they realize what it was. A massive, pale blue foot came crashing down, crushing them all in an instant.

The snow turned crimson, and all that remained of the group were bloodstains in an enormous footprint in the snow.

+++

Back on the Nebulon, the tension was palpable. Tephno and the others felt the tremors beneath their feet, growing stronger with each passing moment. Suddenly, the entire ship lifted as if seized by an invisible force. Screaming, the survivors clung to anything they could.

"What… what’s happening?" Tephno cried out in panic as his mother held him tightly. No one had an answer. But everyone felt this could be their end.

+++

On the Starverna, the technicians had inspected the remaining space suits and found only five intact. The rest had been destroyed or rendered useless in the crash. Captain Phana frowned and ordered the damaged suits to be repaired.

"What about the distress signal?" she asked the technical team.

A technician nodded. "It’s already broadcasting, Captain, but it’s weak. Our energy reserves are critical."

Phana took a deep breath. "Good. Let’s hope someone picks it up. But we won’t just wait around."

With a determined tone, she instructed four crew members to don the remaining functional space suits. "We’re heading out to look for energy sources. The rest of you stay here, fix the ship, and conserve power."

The group stepped into the icy storm. The snow swirled around them like mad, and the cold bit through even the insulating suits. Phana led her team through the white foggy area, their sensors scanning the surroundings.

One of the crewmen screamed as he stumbled into a trench. "Waaah! Damn it! Oh, no, Oh my gawd!!" he cried hysterically.

"What happened? What's wrong?" Phana called, running toward him. Looking down, she saw him lying beside a horribly deformed flattened corpse. The snow around the body was stained crimson.

"Stay calm, crewman. Just climb back up here. Okay?"

The first officer stood beside her, horrified. "What the hell could’ve done this? The body is utterly crushed!"

Phana breathed heavily. "Whatever it was… it got someone from the other crews. This planet might be even more dangerous than we thought."

Suddenly, another crew member shouted in alarm, "Captain, do you see that?"

Phana turned, her gaze following his outstretched arm. Through the dense snowstorm, an enormous silhouette emerged. It was impossible to discern its exact form, but it towered over anything they could have imagined.

"That... that can't be real," someone whispered.

Switching her sensors, Phana focused on the massive figure. The gigantic creature was clearly the energy source they had been tracking. But there was more. To her horror, she saw the creature’s greenish-glowing eyes as it casually held one of the smaller ships, the Nebulon, in its massive hands, carrying it away as though it were a mere toy.

Phana's heart pounded in her chest. She froze, unsure of what to do. "Back to the ship!" she commanded. "We’re not safe out here. No one is safe!"

The crew scrambled after her, fleeing in panic as the ominous shape vanished back into the snowstorm. The thought of the Nebulon—and the thousands of lives aboard—gripped in the hands of that colossal creature made Phana feel like she couldn’t breathe. Were they all doomed? But giving up wasn’t an option. She had to think. She had to find a way to survive—and to save the others.

On the warm and tranquil planet Moggora, the atmosphere was serene. A gentle breeze rustled through the towering exotic trees, and the vast plains stretched endlessly to the horizon. On the terrace of her elegant Asian-style mansion, Ryung, a colossal woman standing 160 meters tall, sipped tea from a steaming cup that, for regular people, would have been the size of a swimming pool. She closed her eyes, savoring the rare moment of peace. After countless missions, she had earned this reprieve.

But - of course - her relaxation was interrupted by the blinking red light on her high-tech wristband. Frowning slightly, she activated the device, and a distorted message crackled through. It was a distress signal—faint but undeniably desperate. Ryung listened intently as the voice, likely that of a captain, described the dire situation. Her heart sank as she heard about the stranded crews on a distant ice planet.

Without hesitation, Ryung set her teacup down and rose to her full, towering height. "Another adventure calls… A winter adventure," she murmured with a hint of determination. As she headed inside to find suitable attire, she whispered to herself, "Hold on people ... I’m on my way."

Back aboard the Starverna, Phana felt relief upon reaching the relative safety of the ship. But it was short-lived, as the nervous Nervon hurried toward her, his eyes wide with alarm.

"Captain! Just now… we detected an extreme energy signature. It was there for only a moment, but… it came with some kind of spatial distortion."

Phana stopped in her tracks, her gaze locking onto Nervon. "Spatial distortion? Are you saying it was a wormhole? Or… or maybe a portal?"

Nervon shrugged nervously. "Hard to say. It was a highly complex signature, nothing we could generate with our technology. But it was definitely artificial."

Phana’s brows knitted in concern. A portal? Or a wormhole? Was someone coming to help them? Or—this thought chilled her—was it something far worse? Could it be the Techno-Owls or some of their allies coming to drag them back into slavery on Pharynga?

"Do we have a more precise location?" she demanded.

Nervon shook his head. "It was too brief. But the source seemed close… within a few kilometers."

Phana bit her lip. "Alright. Keep analyzing the data and keep me updated. Everyone else… get some weapons!”

+++

With a blinding light, the portal opened in the snowy sky, and Ryung stepped through. Her massive figure, wrapped in warm, functional clothing, stood out clearly against the snowstorm. Though she wore a white turtleneck sweater, her purple skirt in a bright tone was still very visible. She also wore a tight thermal pant to stay reasonably warm. On her feet, she wore heavy, fur-lined boots.

However, the cold seeped through her clothes, and Ryung felt her fingers go numb. "This is... more extreme than expected," she murmured, rubbing her hands together. But the plight of the stranded left no room for hesitation. She activated the sensors on her bracelet, which immediately began searching for signs of life.

With thundering steps, she trudged through the deep snow. The landscape was a desolate, icy desert, ruled by biting cold and relentless winds. Frozen ice plates shattered beneath her boots, and every movement caused vibrations that could be felt for miles.

+++

Aboard the Starverna, the already tense atmosphere had intensified. The tremors came back and had become so strong that loose objects fell from the consoles, and the sound of clattering metal echoed through the corridors. Nervon, who was back at the sensors, looked at Phana with a panicked expression. "Captain, these tremors... they must be the steps of the monster! I’m detecting an energy source heading toward our position."

Phana’s heart raced. She paced nervously, while her crew helplessly tried to conserve energy and keep the systems stable. The heating was only working at half power, and the cold crept mercilessly into every corner of the ship. "Damn," she whispered. "We’re sitting ducks here. And we have nearly no functioning weapons! What the hell should we…"

Suddenly, a shadow broke through the snowstorm in front of the view screen, and everyone on the bridge held their breath. A gigantic face appeared before the view screen, filling the entire front of the bridge. It was the face of an Asian woman—warm, but determined. Her enormous dark eyes sparkled with curiosity as she carefully observed the Starverna.

The crew instinctively recoiled, some clutching the nearest consoles in panic. Phana struggled to regain composure as she stared at the enormous face. It was impossible to comprehend the scale.

"That’s a human..." murmured one of the officers. "But... but...."

Ryung’s kind voice boomed: "Don’t be afraid. I’m here to help. I received your distress signal." Her face showed a hint of concern as she looked at the small ship, which seemed like a toy in front of her. "You must be freezing. Let me get you to safety. Come out, and I will help. It’s warm on my planet."

But Phana couldn’t completely suppress her fear. "How... how can we be sure she doesn’t want to harm us?" she asked softly, more to herself than to her crew.

Ryung, sensing what kind of conversation was taking place on board the ship, smiled gently. "Don’t worry. I’m really friendly and will be very careful with you," she said to calm the people.

Captain Phana took a deep breath and tried to maintain her composure. Her thoughts raced, but she knew she had no other choice. The ship was too damaged to continue heating, and the icy environment left no options for escape. The giant woman before them hadn’t seemed hostile, at least not so far.

"Listen up, everyone," Phana said, her voice firm, though she was trembling inside. "We’re leaving the ship—but only the crew members in space suits for now. We need to be cautious."

The crew was visibly nervous, but they nodded. One by one, the men and women, wrapped in thick space suits, stepped out into the merciless cold. Ryung watched them with a friendly gaze.

"Come on out," she said, her voice a deep, reassuring sound that carried over the storm. "I’ll get you to safety."

As the first crew members stepped out of the ship and saw the massive figure of the giantess, their breath caught in their throats.

"That... is incredible," Nervon whispered, standing beside Phana. "She’s as big as a living skyscraper!!"

"Move it," Phana ordered, trying to keep control of the situation. Inside, though, she was just as overwhelmed as the others.

Ryung slowly kneeled down and extended a hand that looked like a protective platform. "Come up," she said with a gentle smile. "I won’t hurt you."

The first crew members carefully climbed onto her hand. Even in their space suits, they felt the warmth radiating from Ryung’s skin.

"This is... amazing," said one of the technicians as he looked around the soft surface of her hand. "How can someone be so big and yet so careful?"

Phana was the last one, and she finally climbed onto the giantess's hand. She held onto the edge as Ryung lifted the tiny people up to her face.

"You are Pharyngans, aren't you? It must be especially cold for you!" said Ryung with a hint of astonishment, as she recognized the dark-skinned faces of the people. "But don't worry. I'll take you all to the planet Moggora. It's warm and safe there."

Phana, overwhelmed by the proximity to this gigantic being, finally spoke: "Thank you for helping us. But... there's a problem." She pointed to the ship. "Most people on board don't have space suits. They can't survive the cold. And... and besides, our ship is just one of many. The others have crashed in different places."

Ryung furrowed her brow and thought. "One thing at a time. I'll search for the other ships next. For now, I'll take care of you. And I have an idea of how I can keep you warm," she said finally. Her tone was firm but friendly. "Trust me."

Phana hesitated, but she had no choice. "All units," she spoke into the radio. "Come out of the ship. And bring all the passengers… Now."

The remaining crew and passengers, shivering from the cold, left the wreckage of the Starverna and hesitantly gathered in the snow in front of her. Ryung watched with a pleased smile as the tiny people formed into groups. She sat down, and the ground trembled under her weight.

She slowly lowered her hand again and let the captain and her crew climb back down on the snowy ground again.

"What... what is she doing now?" asked Nervon nervously, as Ryung then began removing one of her massive boots.

The sound of fabric releasing echoed across the snowy plain as the boot slid off her foot, and huge clouds of steam rose—an intense contrast to the biting cold.

"She's taking off her boot?" asked a crew member, stunned.

Ryung looked at the crowd. "You will need to stay warm," she explained. "My boot is insulated and large enough to fit all of you."

Phana turned pale. "What? This is crazy!" She stepped back and shouted, "Wait! You can't..."

But Ryung didn't respond. Instead, she gently picked up hundreds of the freezing people, who were now at her mercy, and let them slide gently into the boot.

"What is she doing?!" screamed Nervon in panic. "This is madness!"

Phana stared, wide-eyed, at the scene. "Stop! You can't..." Her voice faltered as Ryung put the boot back on and tightened the laces.

An icy shiver ran down Phana's spine. Had the giantess tricked them? Was this all a trap? "Did you... did you just kill them all?" she asked, her voice a whisper full of fear.

Ryung looked at her, her gaze still friendly. "Don't worry. They're safe," she said. "No time to explain. You'll see soon."

"Th-that's insane!" Phana cried, wavering between fear and disbelief, as Ryung's giant hand grasped her again.

"Trust me," Ryung said again, this time with emphasis. "I would never harm you people..."

Phana shivered, not just from the cold but also from fear, as the giant hand hovered over the other boot. They all found themselves surrounded by the steam rising from the boot, and soon after, they were dropped inside.

With a dull thud, Phana and the others landed on the soft footbed of the boot. She rolled and coughed as she oriented herself. The surface was soft but damp, and the smell of warmth enveloped them like an invisible veil. Around her, the others murmured, their voices muffled by the surroundings.

Captain Phana scrambled to her feet and looked up. In disbelief, she watched as the Asian giantess tossed the rest of the people into the boot one crowd after the other, each of them landing in the space around Phana.

Then, completely shocked, she saw Ryung's foot slowly approaching. The massive sock eventually filled the opening of the boot, and the air grew heavier as the foot sank deeper. Phana screamed:

"Wait! Please don't! Don't crush us!"

But it was too late. The darkness enveloped them, and finally, the massive foot pressed down on them all, forcing the group downward. Phana felt herself being pressed against the insole of the boot. The pressure was overwhelming, yet strangely not painful. She felt the soft texture of the sock above her, enclosing her like a blanket.

"Captain!" called Nervon over the radio. "Are you... okay?!"

Phana gasped for breath. "I... I think so," she panted. "But how is this possible? The pressure should crush us..."

The crew members around her have been all well but confusion. Despite the tightness, the pressure and the heavy, stifling air, no one was hurt. The warmth of Ryung's foot was intense, but it began to seep into their stiff, frozen limbs.

Then they felt the boot lift. Ryung had put it back on and was standing up. The pressure intensified as her foot touched the ground, and Phana was pressed flat against the insole, along with the others. The breath was forced out of her lungs, but as soon as the foot lifted again, she was able to take a gasping breath.

"We... we need to adjust our breathing to her steps," one of the technicians gasped.

Phana felt the pressure again, as the air was squeezed out of her lungs. Then she could inhale once more when the pressure lessened. "Yes... yes, I think that's the only way. Don't panic! Adjust to the rhythm!"

With each step, they felt Ryung's huge foot above them. The warmth grew more intense, almost comforting, despite the absurd situation. Phana felt the immense weight pressing her down again and again, and then the brief, relieving pause when the foot lifted.

"It's... so warm," murmured Nervon. "I never thought I'd say this, but... it's almost pleasant," he said, just as the soft, cozy sole of the foot pressed down on him and gently squished him.

Phana wanted to say something, but she had to focus on her breath, which slowly synchronized with the rhythm of Ryung's steps. She didn't know how the giantess managed to keep them all alive, but she couldn't deny that the warmth and the pressure felt strangely soothing. Even the smell, as intense as it was, was oddly comforting and pleasant. It was an absurd situation, but somehow, it was the most beautiful thing Phana had ever experienced!

+++

Ryung had accommodated all the passengers from the first spaceship in her boots and could now feel the many small people beneath her soles. The boots were now packed to the brim... There was no more space for the people from the other ships. Therefore, she had to take the first group home.

She was about to activate her bracelet to open a portal when she was startled to find that the display had gone dark! She was out of energy!

Ryung's heart raced. Why had she lost her energy? How was she supposed to open a portal now? How would she get home?

As if that weren't enough to worry about, Ryung suddenly felt tremors in the ground. Even for a giantess of her size, these tremors were strong and clearly felt.

As she nervously turned around, she stared up at a gigantic bluish creature that towered over her!

It... it was an Axolotl Kaiju?
