Mike, Geo and Carter are clad in this awesome armored spacesuit based on an old Flash game exploring the secrets of Pluto!
Another day with another upload in a row! I was rather hesitant to do this after seeing how the previous two pics uploaded recently performed, but hey, at least I put them on the internet XD
Today we have another commission, this one is for WillPower276 on Twitter/X and Bluesky, who wanted to see oddly enough OCs of someone else that he knew, in this case MyloYamato's OC Mike Azariel, My OC Geoffrey "Geo" Chase Jr. and MrGerudoMan's Carter Lyon clad in his original spacesuit design which is based on a 2008 Flash-based educational web game called Nat and Geo in Pluto's Secret by, you guessed it, National Geographics! Yes, Geo is in the setting of a game that has a character named Geo but that Geo sure is not my Geo. The Geo that's in that game is a tan girl with a curly hair and a real name Georgia, and in that game, she, along with her best friend, a boy named Nat (which I guess his real name would be Nathan? XD) discovers the real reason why Pluto is no longer considered a planet in our solar system, at least according to a 2008 research and school curriculum ^^; (I heard it is now reclassified as a different category, dwarf planet, along with some newfound ones). And they do so by searching probing robots placed on every planet on the solar system and collects answers from them. And I guess you can say that its the same thing that Mike, Geo, and Carter are doing in this pic :D. I actually would like to do a pic where Geo (Georgia) and Geo (Geoffrey Jr.), along with, some teaser, another character called Geo, together in one frame at some point! But for now, this is the closest thing I and Will can come up with to something called "Geo in Geo's world" XD
Okay, about the process, once again, Symmetry Mode played a major role on the creation of this pic, with all the poses are made using it where I just did one body and spacesuit of one of the older, taller boys and then half of Geo's, up to their shadings, Just that after they were done the symmetrical links can be broken which allows me to give them different colors for their suit, and then give them their hairs, faces, and the taller boys' furthermost arms. I did end up giving Mike a different shading to better signify where the lighting on the pic comes from, especially with the pose I gave to Mike. Finally, the background. This is not how the surface of Pluto looks like, if anything I don't think there has been any accurate artistic rendition of it either as there has been no attempts on actually landing something on it's surface. So I decided to make it look closer to the game, specifically, well, from the stage where the characters finally got to explore Pluto. I actually have the copy of the game downloaded and completed in the past so I fired that up, took screenshot of it, took many colors from there as object fills, and have the three step on one of the platforms at the level. You guys can still play this game if you're interested, you can download Flashpoint, which is a free software containing archives of web games around the web, including Flash games, online and offline, and you can search the game there ;) Link to the installer is right here.
As for the pic overall, I can say that it's pretty good. Glad to see them enjoying the view of the Pluto's landscape :D
Thanks for your order, WillPower276, I hope you, and as always you guys, liked it :D
