[Commission] Solar Panel Repair Job

Well this was supposed to be posted at the same week as the other pics I posted recently, but hey, here we are at last!

Another commission this time and another furry illustration after quite a while actually, and we have a bear OC Gordon Makwa of one of the Parfait members Jason Hopkins a.k.a LaadfootNH on DA and Twitter/X, which are previously featured in one of the YCH posts featuring the EMU Spacesuit, which I still plan to post the batch of them on Patreon in the future, just looking for a right time for it ^^;. This time, he's still clad in the suit, but now fully on with the helmet and out into the vacuum, using the MMU from Space Shuttle Challenger to maneuver around as he tasked to do some repairs to, as seen here, some of the solar arrays, and the other parts of the International Space Station!

Okay for patrons, I'm sorry there were no single WIP posts for this pics, but as for the processes overall, there aren't really much to describe from it itself, except yeah this time there were some different approach done here. So, the suit was done first, got it shaded right away in fact, thanks to the previous drawings and the limited poses you can do with the EMU (the legs are basically the same as they're barely used than the arms), but as for his bear head, that is where I had to return to the way I do heads of astronauts in spacesuits in my earlier drawings, which is putting the head after the spacesuit object. Usually, it was part of the body object put before the spacesuit object, but after some practice on doing bear heads in 3/4 view for this pic and the fact that his snoopy cap covered thick fur pretty much covered his wide bear neck, having the usual neck shown behind the helmet base and neck cushion is considered not necessary here so the head was done after the suit was done.

Now for the background, Initially with how the pose was wired up, I had some rough ideas, but then suddenly doubted that it would be doable in complexity or would look good so I decided to made sure just in case Leadfoot wanted something specific (which, other than being around the space station, he didn't), google for some references, and ultimately decided to have him grab into the truss of one of the solar arrays that has some debris-hit hole on it. The hole wasn't perfect, but thankfully I didn't keep the shadings I put around it during the process otherwise it would've looked uglier ^^; But overall, quite pleased with the result :D
