[Art Trade] Phase 3: Pursuit

Well, I initially planned to focus on Underwater pics for some time, but keep thinking of doing this a lot lately last week especially since the guy whose pic is for kept on asking ^^; But no really, suddenly feel like doing some A7L suit again last week so here you go :D

Anyways, we have the third part of the series of pics for Aloo123 over at DA, Featuring his OC Jas Gill and Ursa, one of the antagonists from the 1980 movie Superman 2. This time though, shortly after the event in the previous pic, Jas has managed to flee from Ursa's curiosity and ran away, only to get followed by Ursa later on in a much quicker way: by flying, Kryptonian style :D (Yes, Kryptonian style, since she's one of them just like the Superman himself who made this exact pose when he flies. She's just among the bad ones.)

Let's go straight to the process a bit. Yes, I did a front view of the A7L suit before with a male character, a pic of which will be up as part of the Classics later, but for this one of Jas, I decided to rebase it on the EMU template I usually use, and modified it heavily into the A7L suit, just like what I did for the first two pics. And I'll be honest, I like how it came out! So much so that before I did the background, I fine-tuned every detail of it, making sure that every line and the shading look proper and free from errors, and improved one that appears to need some! Heck, I liked how the breast pop-out came out compared to the last pic! XD

Now let's talk about the speech bubbles. Initially, assuming different artists do it differently, for a modulated speech, I used the bubble with a dashed outline, until I needed to figure out how to do it for the Ground Control's speech which of course is modulated and off-screen. Turns out how you add speech bubbles is rather standardized, and the dashed outline bubbles are for a whispered speech ^^; For a modulated speech, which in this case is Jas' speech, it's a normal bubble but with a lightning tail, and for the GC's bubble, it's the one where the tail is pointing inwards instead of outwards like a normal bubble. I did it right in this pic, but this also means, perhaps to avoid confusion among avid comic readers and comic artists, that I have to update the previous two pics as well as my older pics that use speech bubbles ^^;. I'll get it sorted out later when I got a chance to do another wave of classics uploads. Maybe soon just for these updated pic? we'll see. Still, I would like to thank EdvinDraw over at DA for his knowledge and for helping me out on this!

Overall, really satisfied with how the entire pic came out, and I hope Aloo and as always you guys, liked it! :D
