Selkie Girlfriend: Finn Part Two (complete)
Added 2019-08-05 17:00:03 +0000 UTCFinding a way to free Finn has become the most important subject on my mind. I have an idea where her coat is kept, but I have yet to find my way inside. The supply yard is huge and the doors are always sealed up. The captor has a whole set of keys and one of them must be the one to get inside. There is an alarm system though, and once inside, it’ll set off in a certain amount of time. If I don’t make it out fast enough, the captor will be alerted and undoubtedly show up to the warehouse.
It is dangerous and I have been trying to plan out scenarios with Lotte and Frida for a while now. I am trying to hurry, I don’t want Finn to suffer any longer than she has to. Ever since that one night we were together, her eyes look more hazel than brown now. Before, they would stay dark until we kissed. Now that she had hope, they remained bright.
Of course her captor hasn’t noticed this incredible difference in her. He only sees what is in the scope of his comforts, which is why he keeps Finn’s coat hidden so far away from her. That’s why he’s moved them away from the ocean. He doesn’t want to lose his little housewife and his creature comforts. He doesn’t want to give away the things that make him happy even though they make someone else suffer. In his mind, if he is happy then everything is ok, no need to ask what is wrong with everyone else.
I suppose that is what makes him so loathsome, his unwillingness to change and to grow inside a world that is leaving him behind. His ways are ancient now, yet still holding tight to this world with nasty claws. Finn isn’t a partner to him, she is an object he can own. She is no more than a candy bar stolen from the gas station. I will gladly do what I can to return her home.
I know there is a chance that when Finn is able to go home, I may never see her again. She may fade into the ocean and not come back to shore. After all of this, I wouldn’t blame her. Had my life been stolen from me for so long, I would’ve disappeared into the clouds for no one to see me again. I know it is a risk to have my heart broken, but it is one I am willing to take to help Finn.
“What if we just kill him when he shows up?”
Lotte and I turn to Frida with a mild look of concern. “Kill him?” I scoff.
“You know.” She slices her wing through the air. “Kill him.”
I look to Lotte, who kind of shrugs in agreement. “I mean, if we get caught, we might as well. Who would blame some swans?”
“It isn’t right,” I scoff. “Besides, he needs to suffer long after Finn is gone.”
“But not for the right reasons. He’ll think he’s the victim,” Frida rolls her eyes. “He’ll whine and moan until he tricks someone else into being his servant.” She lowers her head down. “I say we just kill him. Punishment done.”
I grimace at her. “As much as I’d like to take him out of this world, I don’t think it’s the right thing to do. He doesn’t deserve death, but he doesn’t exactly deserve life either.”
“I’ll peck off his balls!” Lotte exclaims.
Frida howls with laughter as I whack my wings around Lotte for a bit. “Where on earth would you get an idea like that?”
“Men have too much stock in their privates.” Lotte fluffs up as she moves away from me. “We take his personal business away, it’s like death in life for him.”
Frida snorts and cackles, throwing her head back.
“We won’t be mutilating someone!” I speak slowly to them. “No killing either. We’ll fight him off if we have to, but we won’t do any sort of...Life altering damage.”
“What if he falls down the stairs?” Frida asks.
“Stop with the horrifying murder house logic!” I stare at her in disbelief. “As long as we save Finn, there is no point in worrying over him.”
“My first husband got eaten alive by a gator,” Frida says. “Do we know any gators? I mean, they could be of use.”
“Frida!” I snarl at her.
“I’m joking,” she laughs. “Of course I’m joking. I’ve never been married.” She winks to Lotte, who giggles.
I sigh and shake my head. “This is about Finn. We don’t need to concern ourselves with him. He won’t matter in the long run. As soon as we get her coat, he’s basically garbage.”
“Oh, fine. Just take all the fun out of it and run away,” Frida ruffles up her feathers then settles back down. “And what about you?”
I swallow and look up at her. “What about me?”
“The you in all of this,” Frida murmurs. “What will become of you once Finn has her coat returned to her?” She looks me dead in the eyes and I can feel her stare deep in my bones. “You’ll take her home and then what? Will you return here?”
“Maybe.” I dart my eyes around, not wanting to focus on her or the question at hand. “I’m not sure. It depends on how long she stays.”
“She’s not going to leave the ocean, Grete,” Frida’s tone is serious. “That’s where she belongs. That’s why she kept coming to this lake. She was hoping to find something of home here and she never could. She only saw memories that drew out her own suffering and pain.” Frida goes quiet and approaches me. She touches my face and wipes my tears away.
“Finn belongs there,” she coaxes me. “And once she’s come home, she may never come back to shore. So what about you, Grete? What will become of you?”
I sniffle and lean into Frida’s warm palms. “I’ll stay there,” I whisper. “I’ll stay there at the shore and I’ll wait on her. No matter how long it takes. I’ll stay at the shore and wait for Finn to come back to me.”
“I know.” Frida kisses my forehead.
Behind me, Lotte hugs me tight. “I’ll go to the ocean with you, Grete,” she says. “I’ll keep you company while you wait.”
“It gets cold there,” Frida warns as she hugs me too. “I’ll stay as well, make sure you two idiots don’t freeze yourselves to death.”
“Thank you,” I sniffle. “Thank you.”
That evening, we set to steal the keys from the captor’s truck. As we’re waiting for him to come home, we watch Finn inside the house. She seems sort of distant and unfocused on what she’s doing. She keeps stirring the same pot as her eyes stare dreamily out the window.
“What’s she doing?” Lotte asks.
“I believe she’s fantasizing about our Grete,” Frida chuckles. “Something quite lascivious considering how her hips are moving.”
Lotte snickers and giggles as I hit Frida with my wing.
“Can you blame her?” Lotte then asks. “If I had to live with that guy, I would daydream about someone else too.”
We turn when we hear the rattle and sputter of the old truck. It pulls up and the captor steps out. He spits on the ground before he heads to the house.
“He’s big,” Frida whispers.
“Stupid too,” Lotte tacks on.
He goes inside and Finn barely budges. She lifts her head to acknowledge him, but when he comes to stand beside her, she moves to another pot on the stove. The captor grabs her arm and yanks her. The spoon catches the pot and it falls off the stove and onto the ground. Finn yelps but he keeps holding her, fussing at her for not greeting him properly. He tries to kiss her but she yells about the spill on the ground. He screams at her for yelling.
“Should we go now?” Frida whispers.
I watch the window, making sure he doesn’t do anything to her. The captor shakes her and Finn yells more. She finally rips away from him and he kicks the pot on the ground and stomps his foot. He yells something obscene at her and storms back out of the house.
“Wait, he’s leaving!” Lotte gasps.
The captor hops into his truck and drives off.
Finn opens up the door and steps out onto the porch. She’s rubbing her eyes and trying not to cry, but she is very obviously shaken. I slip down from the trees and stand before her.
“Is everything ok? I ask.
“Grete!” Finn looks up at me and rushes into my arms. She holds me tight and keeps her face buried.
I sigh and stroke her back. “It’s ok, love. It’s ok.”
“I’m just so glad to see you,” she sighs.
“What happened?” I brush the hair from her face. “Why’d he storm out like that?”
Finn rests her cheek on my shoulder. “He came in and when I didn’t say hello right away, he took offense to it. He grabbed me and scared me, and even though the hot food was burning my foot, he tried to kiss me. I told him no and it just all-” she scoffs and lifts herself up. “He stormed off. He’s probably gone to the bar or something.”
I kiss Finn’s forehead and smoothe her hair away. “I’m sorry, love.” I whisper.
“I got to see you, it’s alright.” She hugs me close again. “What are you doing here?” She asks.
I pet my hand up and down her back. “Just looking for trouble, I guess.”
Finn grabs hold of my hand. “He’ll be gone for awhile if you want to stay.” She tugs me towards the door. “All this food will just go to waste.”
“As lovely as that sounds, I think there is something else I need to do.” I kiss her lovingly, regretting not taking her offer.
Finn pouts. “Then why did you come here?” She teases me.
I chuckle and hold her cheek. “Because I’m a sucker.” I kiss her again and she wraps her arms around my neck.
Finn sighs as she parts from me. “I’ll be at the lake tomorrow.”
“Good, I already can’t wait to see you.” I kiss her again before I shoo her back inside. I turn around to see Lotte and Frida waiting.
“So what now?” Frida asks. “We chase him down to the bar and what? Do we shake the keys from him?” She smirks at me. “Corner him in the bathroom maybe and really knock his block around?”
“I can still peck off his balls,” Lotte says.
“Oh my god,” I growl and fly up into the sky.
We fly into town and sure enough, his truck is parked outside the bar. I look inside, finding his keys aren’t in the ignition.
“Oh wow, he’s smarter than we gave him credit for,” Frida scoffs. “He didn’t leave his keys unlocked outside a bar.”
I grumble under my breath and look towards the front door.
“Do we go in?” Lotte asks.
I take a deep breath and exhale it slowly. “Lotte, you stay outside. Frida, come in with me.” As I stride to the door, I put on a glamour that makes me suit the atmosphere of the bar better. Frida dons a glamour too, looking a tad frightening for my taste.
We step inside and look around for the captor.
“Wow, busy for a weekday,” Frida laughs. “Ain’t it sad?”
“Hush,” I hiss at her. “We’ve got to find him and get his keys.”
Frida taps my shoulder. “He’s at the bar.”
I look ahead, seeing him toss a few bills onto the counter before finishing his beer. He’s complaining loudly to all that will hear him. I start to approach him when Frida holds me back.
“Wait now,” she whispers, “Let me try.”
“You?” I arch my brow at her. “Didn’t you want to kill him?”
She laughs. “Oh come on, you can’t take me seriously.” She heads to the bar where she plops down next to the captor. She starts chatting him up. He doesn’t seem to pay her mind at first, but soon, he’s all eyes on her. Frida laughs and continues to talk with him. She then grabs the back of his head and slams it down into the bar.
I gasp and jump nearly out of my skin. She slams his head down again and shoves her hands into his pockets. “I got them!” She holds the keys up then chucks them through the air at me.
I catch them, but as I do, the captor stands up and pushes Frida down from the bar stool. Profanities start to fly in the air and I rush forward. I slam onto his back and wrap my arms around his head, pressing one arm against his neck to choke him. Frida stands up and punches him in the face.
I hop off his back and grab Frida, hoping we can run from the quickly forming crowd around us. I’m grabbed by my hair and pulled back, nearly slamming my neck onto a bar stool. The captor’s nose is bleeding as he wraps my hair around his fist.
I let my glamor drop and my neck stretches out long. I hiss in his face as my mouth unhinges and opens wide. My wings spread out, knocking bar patrons left and right. Frida and I then run, dashing outside and grabbing Lotte.
“His truck?” Frida shouts.
“I slashed his tires!” Lotte squeals with glee.
“I’m so proud of you!” Frida cackles. We take off into the sky and head towards the construction supply yard.
As we land outside the door, Frida shakes her fist. “Humans are a lot harder than they look.”
“I about lost it when you slammed his face into the bar.” I start going through all the keys, trying to find the one that unlocks the door.
“He offered to pay me to go into the bathroom with him.” Frida grimaces and sticks her tongue out. “I’m surprised I held back.”
One of the keys clicks and works. I open up the door and step into the eerily silent warehouse.
“Be a shame if it were haunted,” Lotte’s voice echoes around.
We go up stairs and find his office locked, so I have to go through the process of trying to find the right key again.
“Do you think he’ll go to the hospital or home?” Frida asks suddenly, her voice low and serious.
A key fits and the door unlocks. “Lotte slashed his tires.”
“Yeah, but maybe someone gave him a ride somewhere.” Frida says as we make our way into the office. Once we turn on the lights, we start a mad search. I check all his drawers and file cabinets.
“Grete, over here.” Frida says. She’s standing over a freezer and she reaches inside. She struggles as she pulls out the big locked box covered in popsicle wrappers.
“Another lock,” I scoff.
“This has to be it though,” Frida says. “As heavy as it is.”
I start going through keys again. “I’m sure it is. Even keeps it in the freezer.” The lock finally pops and I hurriedly throw back the lid. Inside is a silky fur coat. I pull it out and hug it to me. I bring it to my face and breathe in the scent.
“It smells like her,” I sigh.
“Let’s get out of here then.” Frida shuts the freezer. “We’ll help you carry that thing out of here.”
We each grab it as we fly off, but even still, it’s heavier than we expected. It takes us a long time to get back to Finn’s house. By the time we get there, I see Finn pacing around on the front porch. She looks up as she sees us and drops to her knees.
I lay the coat down in front of her. “Hurry, put it on.”
She grabs it between her eyes as tears fall down her face. “How did you-” she struggles to speak. “Grete, how did you-” she looks up at me. “My coat!”
“Hurry, get it on now!” I command her.
Finn grabs the coat up and turns it around. “I just got a call. The cops are bringing him home.” She slips the coat on and her eyes glow bright green. Her hair goes from mousy brown to a vivid pure white. She sighs out loud and clutches her coat around herself. Her hair flows in the air, as do the fluff tails of her coat.
I hold my hands out to her. “Are you ready?”
She smiles up at me and races into my arms. “How can I ever repay you?” She tries to kiss me, but I stop her. “Let’s go to the lake.”
Finn takes hold of my hand as we race through the forest. Once we get to the lake, Finn dives in. Moments later, she bobs to the surface, looking like a seal. She slaps the water with her tail and I follow her out. Lotte and Frida stay close behind us. The lake turns into a river that we follow into the next town. Once there, we stop and get some rest.
Finn wraps her coat around me, placing long, soft kisses all over my face. She’s still crying, but she’s grinning from ear to ear.
“You feel so warm,” I marvel.
“I can’t wait to show you the ocean,” she whispers to me. “Remember the promise?” She asks softly.
“On the beach.” I chuckle. “On your coat.”
Finn nods excitedly. “I really can’t wait.”
I run my fingers through her hair, which feels so soft and thick now. “I’m just glad you’re free now.” I place a kiss on her forehead. “That’s really all that matters now.”
Finn wraps her arms around me. “I’ll never be able to thank you for this.”
“You don’t need to.” I gaze into her eyes. “I’m happy enough now.”
“But I want to.” Her lids lower and a heady expression comes to her face. Each kiss she gives me grows deeper and harder. She soon has me on my back and her warm body pressed against mine.
“We really should rest,” I moan. “We still have a long way to go.”
“I know,” she whispers. “Let me just kiss you a little while longer.”
“Fine.” I wrap my arms around her, taking each kiss she gives me gratefully.
We do eventually fall asleep and wake up at dawn. The air has a crisp chill to it and we look for something to eat. Finn has some money, so she takes us to a restaurant to eat. There, she gets her first fish meal since she was taken from home. The happy and satisfied look on her face means the world to me.
We travel the rest of the day and, by night, I can hear the sounds of the ocean. I hear the waves crashing and seagulls screeching. It’s dark, but already, I take Finn down to the beach while Lotte and Frida get some rest.
Finn runs down into the sands, tripping and falling, but laughing with glee. She rushes forward and stops short of the waves. She stands there, letting the water hit her toes.
“Go on,” I urge. “This is all you ever wanted, right? To come home? To step into the ocean again?”
Finn turns and looks back at me. “Is it weird that I’m scared?”
I walk up to her and put my arms around her from behind. “No, of course not. It’s been such a long time.”
“It’s all I ever dreamed of. I just wanted to come back home.” She gazes out over the water. “It’s so much.”
I step into the water and lead her with me. We go out until the water is around my waist. I kiss her, a tiny drop of fear making me wonder if this is our last. Once she swims away, it could be forever.
“Aren’t you cold?” Finn asks me.
“I’ll be fine.” I let go of her hand. “I’ll stay on the beach, you enjoy your swim.”
Finn nods and disappears under the water. I walk back up to shore and I sit down on the sand. The air is cold and the moon shines bright all around me. As I start to prepare myself for the worst, suddenly, she reappears. She walks back up onto the beach and drops her coat around her ankles.
“Finn,” I whisper.
“Grete,” she has a sweet smile on her lips, “can I make love to you?”
I smile at her and nod. “Of course.”
Finn lays out her coat and beckons me to it. She kisses me as I fall into her arms and my back feels the soft fur. She kisses down my body as her warm hands explore me. I feel the rush of excitement as her lips find their way between my thighs. Her soft moans thrill me and electrify my body. Her warm kisses and fingers mix, making my core pool towards them.
Her fingers move inside me as she kisses my belly and mound. Her pink tongue darts with the white fluff there before finding the swollen bud between my lips. I cry out, sensitive to her whims and touch.
“You taste sweet,” she moans against me.
Her voice vibrates along my body and I let out a pleasured gasp. “Oh, goddess!”
She kisses my clit again then sucks it as her fingers press a spot inside me. I writhe and kick as her affections flow through me. I grab her, forcing her down, just to show her what she’s done to me. We giggle and laugh, play fighting until she succumbs to my tongue. My long black tongue wriggles and laps at her, pushing her open slowly. I press deep inside her and let her thighs trap my head in place. I sink between her thighs, tasting her as she did me. Her cream coats my tongue and blinds my senses to anything else but her. She tastes like the sea and she sounds like heaven.
I don’t let her go until her legs go limp and her breathing becomes ragged. I giggle, smug and pleasured with all my hard work. She kisses me and soon it all happens all over again. We lay there together all night; touching, kissing, licking each other. We tangle one another up in our bodies, making ourselves completely one. Her sweet sighs and voice completely have me undone. I cannot describe the complete bliss I feel with her.
As the waves lap at the shore, we tangle together again, kissing until we fall asleep.
I am woken by the sun glaring in my eyes. “Oh, come on,” I grumble. I sit up, looking out over the ocean. My jaw drops as I see something I cannot believe. I shake Finn awake at the vision before me. “Darling, wake up! Wake up now!”
“Grete, what is it? I was sleeping,” she whines. She pushes me away with an angry pout on her face.
“Just look!” I grab her shoulders.
Finn stares out over the ocean and tears rush to her eyes. “It can’t be.”
We then see figures rising from the waves, their white hair coating the surface of the water. As they come on shore, they clutch their coats around themselves. They circle around us and Finn stares at them in awe.
“Mama!” She rushes forward, grabbing hold of the selkie closest to us. She is then swarmed, surrounded and enveloped by the loving warmth of her family.
I stand up and away, watching them and knowing that Finn is finally where she belongs. There is nothing else I can do for her, no other comfort I can provide. She’s safe and she’s home, better yet, her family is already by her side. I start to walk away but something is latched onto my leg. Looking down, I see a young selkie is wrapped around my leg.
“You can’t go,” she squeaks. She gives me a heated glare. Something so cute shouldn’t be able to do that.
I reach down and pick her up. She’s so chubby and soft, she’s like a living teddy bear. She’s all white all over and has great big eyes.
“I’ve done what I needed to do. Finn is home now.” I set the little seal down but she grabs at me again.
“But we haven’t had a chance to thank you!” She fusses. “You brought my sister home. That means we have to thank you.”
I kneel down and smile. “She’s home now, that’s all the thanks I want.”
The seal pup tilts her head. “What are you, lady?”
I chuckle and rub the top of her head. “I’m a swan maiden.”
“Are all swan maidens rude like you?” She asks.
“Mimi!” Finn’s mother scoffs as she scoops up the pup. She then smiles warmly at me. “Come here, my daughter.” Her arms open up to me. “Come and say hello to your family.”
I look to Finn, who is surrounded by other pups. I then look at Mother as tears start to dribble down my cheeks.
“Aw!” Mother laughs as she wraps me up in the warmest, most amazing hug of my life. “Such a beautiful girl, Finn!” She pets my hair. “And she is the one?”
Finn nods. “Yes. She brought me my cloak and restored it to me.”
“Your bride is beautiful!” Mother kisses my cheeks.
“Bride?” I stare in shock.
Mother looks at me with an arched brow and a knowing smile. “That is the tradition! Returning a missing coat is a marriage proposal.”
I stare at Finn and I start to cry more.
“Oh now, now. Don’t be sad.” Mother hugs me again.
“I’m not!” I sniffle. “I thought I would never see her again!” I cling to Mother, having to sit on my knees to enjoy her motherly hug fully.
“You may not be a selkie,” Mother explains, “but we do not abandon our family.” She brings Finn forward and has us hold hands. “From this point on, you and Finn will never be separated from us again.”
Finn smiles up at me and places a long kiss on my lips as the selkies around us cheer and celebrate.
Mother takes us home, showing us to their stone fortress on the other side of the beach. Inside, there are warm fires and more food than I could ever hope to eat. The pups crowd around us, fighting over who gets held next or who sits beside who.
Frida and Lotte join us and are soon whisked away by the charming selkie men.
“Were you really afraid?” Finn whispers to me.
I nod as my cheeks burn. “Last night, I was ready for it to be forever.” I hold her cheek and rub my thumb across her lips. “Once you swam away, I was willing to wait on that beach for a lifetime. But you being free and happy was all that mattered to me. If you found home again, that was all I could ever ask for.”
Finn smirks at me and tilts her head to the side. “What did you think when I came back to you last night?”
I smile at her. “I didn’t have time to think. I was making too much love to you to even consider.” I kiss her and slip my fingers under her chin. “Where’d you learn that thing with your tongue?”
“I thought about things that might feel good,” she giggles. “I also really just wanted to taste you.”
Her intimate whispers send eager shivers down my spine. “Your imagination is wonderful. I can’t wait to trigger it again.”
Finn snickers and wraps me up in her coat. “You’re my wife now,” she sighs in awe. “I get to have you every night! I no longer have to share my bed with someone I despise.”
I kiss her lovingly. “I’ll erase his memory from your body bit by bit,” I vow. “Every orgasam you enjoy is just a little more of him fading from existence.”
Finn places her head in my lap. “Can we do it now?”
I laugh and hold her close. “Let me eat just a little bit more. I want to have the energy to give you all you need.”
