We've just learned that both Alexandra's mother and Katerina knew what was in store for Alexandra as an English Lady while Alexandra, herself, did not. What's a girl to do except pick up a handful of rocks?
Now look, I know it probably seems like I say this about every sequence, but this one (and the next) have a special place in my heart. I really like the character business here. It's subtle and quiet, which I think is going to be a nice note to have in contrast with what's to come.

LOOK AT ALL THOSE GREEN BARS!!!

🥳 🎉 🥳 🎉 🥳 🎉
I was tempted to record a celebratory video but I have a head cold right now. It would just be "hoora—SNIFF—aayyy, huzz—SNORT—zzah."
Progress on preparing the images for Webtoon was hampered when I fired up Clip Studio Paint (which I only use to automate the image slicing) and discovered it would not open files. Any files. At all. (The solution seemed to be a reboot, then an update to the software. It works now, but will it still work the next time I need it? I am anxious.)

WHAT'S NEXT?
I thought a good way to sort out story ideas as the book progresses would be to use a timeline and stick post-it notes to it. Everything would be clean and clear and easy to reference. Instead, this lump is what Chapter Three looks like.

It is five post-it notes deep in some spots.
It is less of a timeline and more of a quantum narrative agglomeration.
So my first task is to rake up these post-it leaves and take stock of what Chapter Three has in store for me (and us, Dear Reader).
And, ideally, I can keep it all within 40-60 pages. 😬
