"Touch" Exclusive Patron Comic

This exclusive 7 panel comic is done in the style of my novel. However, it is in B&W which I reserve for some flashbacks in the book. The heaviness of the inking gives it the right feel.

Despite my fun bits, Oasi's Fallen is a serious novel. It has some humor throughout, but the majority showcases war and the toll it takes on humanity.

Please do not continue reading if you wish to read the graphic novel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. I know some liked to be surprised by all the twists and turns (no matter how small). I just wanted to provide backstory if anyone is curious about what these panels mean.

Raina and Levin are my main characters - each from separate worlds. We know Raina is a pilot who also serves as a mechanic on her Silver Knight squadron. She is a loud and proud Nevmian. She is striving to live up to her heritage and has a vow to avenge her sister.

I have yet to reveal much about Levin's backstory. In this series of pictures, we see him distraught, hands covered in blood, and sitting amongst shredded body parts. Dismembered enemies lie around him: bodies he himself broke with unnatural strength. However, these people were not always at odds with Levin and his mission. Not unlike many unfortunate Oasians, these men were victims of the same fate - war experiments gone wrong. Levin once led and fought beside these men, men now turned rogue. Once brothers now turned foes. Men unrecognizable to who they once were. It's a treacherous state for Levin's being. His misery is only compounded by his instinct to be a healer. His study of medicine is crushed under the weight of a soldier's duty.

In the end, we see Raina's touch offers Levin a sliver of sanity. He goes from clutching his head to grasping her hand.
