4:20 “Glumbo guy” Lol I love all the unintended nicknames when Elijah can’t remember the names. It’s become a solid part of these reactions.

As someone who hates their own birthday it was really refreshing to see Elijah defending McDuck about not celebrating his birthday. It's very rare for me to find someone who just can't understand that I don't want to do anything for my birthday

You should definitely check out the fan fest 2018 live reading of this episode on YouTube! It’s so funny! Fun fact: It’s hosted by the voice director of Ducktales 2017, Sam Riegel who also voices Scanlan in The Legend of Vox Machina

The word search also includes backwards (both horizontal and vertical) and diagonal words. I strongly recommend taking a thorough look at all the words you can find in the word search, because some of them are foreshadowing, both for this episode and future episodes.

He's a landlord in the classic sense of a feudal lord.

“So I was kind of right, but not completely?” Yep, spoken like a true Ducktales fan. Mosco can vouch for Elijah on that. 🤣

Notice the model number on the security system is "DT-87" - when the original Duck Tales came out.

I never caught this my first time watching this, but Scrooge is literally the landlord of an entire city. Actually, he's not even a landlord because landlords have responsibilities to their tenants, Scrooge does not. He just passively makes income. Well, if Scrooge weren't fictional, I would definitely not like him. However, he is fictional and he's voiced by David Tennant so he gets a pass.

Fun fact: not only was Duckworth a character from the old Ducktales cartoon, but a lot of people were wondering where he was when he didn't show up in the first few episodes, and then the creators said that we had already seen him at that point, and that caused a lot of theories about where he was...with most people speculating that a background extra seen in episode 1 that kinda looked like him was Duckworth.
Turns out, he was the demon ghost from the opening all along. Safe to say, no one saw that coming.

A lot of the old school fans were upset that Duckworth was dead in this version, to which the crew asked us to be patient because he was in the opening credits. Of course, we had no way of possibly guessing he was the demon ghost.
