Private Collection: Photobook Highlights

She may not be widely known, but to me she has always been an irreplaceable muse. Her gaze and her gestures carry such magnetic allure that even the most unplanned snapshots stir something within. She embodies both sensuality and mystery. Though I do not usually gravitate toward fuller body types in my own work, I still hope that one day I will have the chance to collaborate with her.
The photobook was shot by renowned Japanese photographer Chikashi Kasai. His use of rich and heavy tones amplifies Eimi’s distinctive presence and allure. What struck me most was his approach to format. While vertical images dominate in today’s mobile-driven viewing habits, he wove in horizontal frames paired with intimate close-up gazes. This choice softened the sense of deliberate seduction and instead heightened the everyday intimacy of the series, drawing the viewer deeper into its atmosphere.
This has given me new inspiration, and I may explore similar approaches in the future.

她或許不是特別知名，但在我心中卻是一位無可取代的謬思。她的眼神與姿態總是充滿吸引力，即便只是攝影師隨意捕捉的一瞬，也能喚起內心深處的某種情緒。對我而言，她幾乎是性感與神秘的化身。即使我平時在創作中不太偏好偏肉感的體態，我依然很希望有生之年能與她合作一次。
這本寫真集由日本知名攝影師 笠井爾示（Chikashi Kasai） 拍攝。濃烈深邃的色調，不僅放大了英海的獨特氣質與誘惑力，也讓我重新思考拍攝形式。當大眾早已習慣用手機觀看直幅照片時，他卻在作品中穿插了許多橫幅畫面，搭配偶然捕捉到的凝視特寫，化解了刻意的性感氛圍，反而更凸顯日常感，讓人更容易沉浸在整本作品裡。
這樣的處理方式給了我新的靈感，未來或許會嘗試更多不同的呈現。
