Sharp Light, Soft Seduction: A Look into My Personal Photo Collection

Supporting the work I admire has always been important to me. Just like how you support me through this platform, I try to support artists whose vision moves me — with both appreciation and action.
The work I’m sharing today is from a long-time favorite Japanese model 英海 Eimi and photographer Yūm4 duo, shot in a love hotel setting.
I’ve always been drawn to the model’s quiet, mysterious charm. There’s something magnetic in her gaze, and in this particular series, her sensuality is fully brought to life.
Her curves are sculpted by the sharp lighting, creating a visual impact that is hard to look away from. The shadows, the tension, the textures — every frame invites you to slow down and take it in, one by one.
I’ve tried to create something similar before, but I always felt something was missing.
Maybe it’s the subtle cultural differences between Japan and Taiwan. Or maybe it’s technical — I recently realized that my habit of using softboxes from commercial shoots was dulling the raw intensity that bare lights could offer.
I also wonder if it reflects a gentler, more restrained part of myself. But next time, I want to push past that and try capturing something with more edge.

今天想與你們分享的是一組來自我長期關注的一位日本模特 英海 Eimi 與攝影師 Yūm4 的合作作品，拍攝地點是在愛情旅館。她一直以來都擁有一種神祕而難以忽視的魅力，尤其是她的眼神，總能散發出令人著迷的氣質。而這組作品更是將她性感與誘惑的特質發揮到極致。
她曲線分明的身體在強烈的光影下顯得格外銳利，視覺衝擊力十足，讓人忍不住一張接一張細細觀賞，完全無法跳頁略過。
我其實也很想拍出一組這樣的作品，過去有嘗試過，但總覺得少了一些味道。或許是台灣與日本之間的文化感受不同？
最近我才意識到，我因為過去做商業拍攝的習慣，總是使用柔光罩打燈，反而失去了裸燈所能營造出的那種強烈質感。也許這也反映出我個人比較溫和、收斂的創作傾向吧。
下次我也想試試看跳脫這個舒適區，來創作一組更有衝擊感的畫面。
