Proof of Life #159: Merry (belated) Christmas!
Added 2022-12-26 22:58:23 +0000 UTCHeya everyone, guys, gals, and unidentified, and a merry one-day-late Christmas (2 days depending on your timezone)! How have you been doing? Enjoyed yourself over the weekend? I know I did, and went a bit overboard on the food, but hey, that's what Christmas is for, right?
I'm back from two days off, and I think it's the first time I took two days rest back to back ever since I started working on the HC series back in mid 2019. Now, time to resume working, but I will surely have to take a few half-days off in the upcoming week for birthdays and stuff.
Still, I managed to get some work in during last week. I created a few new maps for the main storyline and Lily's 2nd quest, on which I'm working right now. It will end with her very first scene. But before that, I'll need some more time to properly set it up, so I can give her character some more depth, as well as a bit more backstory to the antagonist (I won't dwell too long on it though, don't worry).
After that, it'll be Haylen's turn with her own second quest, and I'll be using whatever time remaining after that to work on the main quest, with a focus on Rose this time. With the next update, the corruption for all the main and second characters will have finally started, so yay for that! : )
Anyway, that's going to be it for this PoL, not a whole lot to say, and I'm still a bit tired from the weekend. Of course, I'll keep you updated over the coming weeks.

yeah i too like more girls with 1 antagonist. HC2 had that the father son with mutiple girls i hope we see something same with HC3

Well done on Cyanna, the twist was great and I loved the set up. Keep up the mystery+surprise factor, and establish a set up for a pay off to keep it fresh. Hope you had a great holiday and don’t push yourself too hard, it’s better to have a great-thought out result than a stressed overworked dev, that pushes things to release on deadlines without actually putting any though into it.

May be more coercion/bully and humiliation will be better? Fall slowly in silence or crying, English is not my native language, so my expression may not be accurate，Looking forward to the next update.
