Proof of Life #129: progress report #17. Adding a few extra stuff.

Heya guys and gals, N_Taii here! I'm bringing you another PoL post with more news about HC3. I've been feeling a bit under the weather today, so I'll keep this one short. Also, I don't have a whole lot to say, since things have just been progressing as usual.

To add on what I have written in the title, I've came up with a few new ideas to add to the transition part between the prologue and the start of the actual gameplay of the game's main part. I wanted to have some more "juicy stuff", and also add a few story scenes so that the players wouldn't feel like they're being suddenly rushed, but instead gently eased into the main story after the prologue/introduction.

This entails creating new assets, new dialogues, and new maps. Since I want to maintain continuity, all of the maps are made in an image editing software, so they take a bit of time to finish. That means there will probably be a few more days added before the first release of the game, but not many. I predict it will take at most till mid-june to release it, but I highly doubt it will actually take that long to be honest. Still, I hate broken promises, so I'd rather not make any for the time being : ) Just know that those few extra days are used to (hpefully) make the game even better!

Also, I'd love to have HC3's main banner ready for the game's main menu before release. The artist has finally sent me the first draft a few days ago, and I really like it. Still, I have my doubts about it being finished before release. If it isn't I'll just post it here when it's done, then add it in-game for the next release : )
