Proof of Life #27: Making progresses on HC-2

Sorry for the very late Monday post, time just flew by today!
About HC-2
I haven’t got much to say. The map is complete and I’ve been testing a few new features to add in-game, such as a quest log (example in picture), a message backlog, a skip text feature and a few other things. All of them are working properly so far, maybe a bit too much (the skip text option is damn fast)!^^
All of the characters’ appearances are mainly done, and I’m writing up a bit of their backstories so they won’t feel like random NPCs.
Soon, I’ll be moving on with the development and I’ll have something to show you guys so you can playtest it and give me your opinion.

I'll be uploading yet another poll soon to ask you what I should do about bigger animations, so be on the lookout for that : )

To be honest, before seeing your comment, I didn't intend for it to work that way. I saw it more as a replacement for Ixy, where instead of going to the fairy for infos on what to do, you'll just check the Quest Journal to see the objectives. However, it would be a good idea to add smaller side quests, maybe for the side characters, and in order to add some features (like you had to get rid of the frog to unlock Ixy's advices). I'm currently working towards that (for example, you'll have to do a short side quest in order to unlock a mini-map). I'll have to work on that further tho^^
