bonus video: JOJO S2 opening/ending DIO edition

HELLO! Y'all asked me to check out the final episodes OP/ED to see something awesome and SAW WE DID but I also got a bit emotional :(

Comments

I know about the blink and miss it Hermit Purple foreshadowed in BT OP... I've gone and watched a couple at 3/4 or even 1/2 speed to catch all the stuff in some

To add to that, in the scene where the characters are on a staircase, everyone on the left survives and everyone on the right does not A channel called Mother's Basement on YouTube has a series called "What's in an OP", he broke down all the opening for the first 4 parts of Jojo's, highly recommend watching, lots of cool details there

The ending outro slowly became my favorite anime ending. The events and the journey match everything so well. Also, at the end there, I believe it's Jotaro looking at the sky after seeing Dio finally destroyed by the sun. The part where he says they lost things bigger than the world. The picture originally was being covered by sand but then is viewed clearly again which believes me to think that: A) after being blown away, it was Jotaro who picked it up and B) this led to him looking at the picture one more time once they flew off.

Reunion

The shadows on the wall as the pendulum swings are the Egyptian Gods The opening credits have a LOT of spoilers in as to how the SCs are attacked in the final fight too. Also when they are separated by the River round 3/4 the way through the end credits: crossing the river means things... Oh, and season 4 has a new couple of characters added every ED when you meet them in the episode itself (the OP 1st song has 2 versions that change slightly when someone has {redacted} happen to them {Spoilers})

Nothing different about the ending, but it really hits different after you know everything that happens at the end :') Also an interesting detail someone once pointed to me is that, on the last image before we see Jotaro at the end of the it, you can notice that Avdol, Kakyoin and Iggy are together on the other side of the Nile river. Egyptians believed that one side of the Nile was for the living and the other for the dead. It's a small detail but always makes me tear up... Anyway thanks for reacting to it, can't wait to watch your reaction to part 4!!

Lia

In that ending where they’re all on the train Joseph only has 3 tickets in his hand

Angel Barrera
