I'm fairly sure that it's still canon. If I remember correctly, Tom said that he left the page showing it out of the main comic because he was framing the flashback as someone's narration (Euchre, I believe), and they couldn't have firsthand knowledge of how Rose was freed.

If I had seen this earlier today I would've suggested a follow-up sketch where Mary meets Rose in her cell before reading her mind to get answers about her connections to Euchre.

Nobody knows, the trouble I've seen 🎵 On a serious note, nice emotional piece. I do like how the negative space, while being empty and lonely, still have little bits that add so much. Also, is it really canon that Saria was involved in Rose's escape? I've not been 100% on whether that is truly canon or a fun alternate story.

maybe if we could we should free her and i believe i'm probably a better as a brute with magic and physical attacks and you could probably use your smarts to negotiate though i'm fairly smart aswell so we could do what we can physically and with our intellect as i know both of us have negatives and positives with our persanality and perception
