The trees you could know of, based on where you are up to, include the Adam Tree which is what the Sunny is made out of, the Eve tree which is what shines light into Fishman Island (which is located directly below where the Celestial Dragons live), the tree in Ohara, the tree on Zou and the tree of Elbaph. Idk if there are any other trees. Maybe Giant Jack from Skypiea counts, idk. I guess the trees from Jaya that the Shandian souls reside in are worth a mention too

I don't see them making the kind of changes that OPLA are making. Especially since a lot of the changes that OPLA makes are necessitated by the fact that its a different medium whereas The One Piece is still an anime.

2026-03-16 18:10:43 +0000 UTCI agree with you on all points about Little Garned in the anime. LA Little Garden feels different because power scaling was portrayed in a very different way: 1. Visky Peak fight between Zoro and Luffy didn't happen, so Ms. Valentine and Mr.5 in the LA were never defeated, but the heroes ran for their lives from them. 2. In anime, you knew from the very beginning that the MC crew is much stronger than Mr. 3, Ms. Goldenweek, Ms. Valentine, and Mr.5 together. Which is why everything that happened in the Little Garned gives you the feeling of dragged out arc; 3. The way Zoro was captured here made much more sense than in anime; he was part of the Candle Party for no reason. 4. Ms. Valentine and Mr.5 give you different vibes, not even talking about Mr.3, who looks much crazier, especially Mr.3. In the anime, Mr.3 wanted to grab money for Broggy and Dorry's heads, while here he wants just to make them part of his crazy art.

Judging by what I saw here though, it seems to me that the story is far more focused on the immportant pieces that drive the plot forward. If memory serves me, i don't ever remember this arc being one of my favorites and that is in part due to the pretty poor pacing in the anime. The giants also were not that immportant to the one piece world during these early stages of the story. Oda clearly was setting them up to be, but it was just another average run of the mill OP arc that was midly entertaining and then moving onto the better stuff like drum island and alabasta, things really got more interesting. Alabasta was the first arc that truly got me hooked on OP. Either way i have to say the live action handled it FAR better imo. Also massive shout out to Jacob Romero, the man took it to another level in terms of embracing the character Usopp, from being sad, shook up, showing his usual comedic side or his inspirational speeches, just great acting abitility all around.
