How it is made
This is one of those shots in which the photo tells the intimacy of the subject, in the expression of the face, in her eyes, you can read something inner and private, something that is usually guarded and hidden from the eyes of others. Here, this for me is an example of what boudoir photography means. A sofa covered by a wrinkled sheet, a French window that lets in a soft light and her gaze. A delicate gesture covers the breasts, the hair gathered without too much care, the body practically bare from every garment but nothing is visible, everything is left to the imagination.
Post-production
Post-production was very basic: development of digital negative (with Capture One), retouching of lights and shadows, contrasts and micro contrasts and a retouching to tonal values.
