Secrets of the Ninjetti | Lore Entry #1

6,000 Years ago…

Before the discovery of the Morphin Grid, Ivan Ooze ruled the known universe with his army of dark forces and the power of his Ecto Morphicons. He spread ooze from galaxy to galaxy, enslaving all and destroying anyone who would dare challenge him. Zordon, the Supreme Guardian of the Eltarian Army, had been engaged with the tyrant for a thousand years, but even with the power of the entire Eltarian Army, it was a stalemate between the two opposing forces.

There was only one stronghold left…

Phaedos

Dulcea, the Great Sorceress and Leader of the planet, was aware of the looming threat approaching her world. Knowing that Zordon probably couldn’t hold off the invasion once it came, she took matters into her own hands. Using the power she possessed, she created sacred animal spirits to aid her. With that power, she chose six warriors and imbued them with that power, which would become known as the Ninjetti. These six warriors were given special weapons and masks and trained in the ancient art of stealth known as Kursai, a sacred style of fighting only found on Phaedos. Along with their skills, their masks gave them special abilities that would aid them greatly once Ivan and his army arrived.

Just as predicted, the war came to them, using all that they had learned, the Ninjetti warriors, along with Zordon and the Eltarian Army, engaged. With the power of the Ninjetti on their side, Dulcea and Zordon were finally able to gain the upper hand on Ivan and while Zordon defeated his army, The Ninjetti Warriors defeated him, however, being a morphological being, Ivan couldn’t fully be destroyed. So using their animal spirits, The Ninjetti turned Ivan into a vat of ooze and encased him within a large egg. Without his power, his Ecto Morphicon Titans were shut down.

Having finally won the war, Zordon took Ivan’s Egg, encased in a claw of Eltarian Titanium, and took the Ecto Morphicon Titans to Earth where he would keep a close eye on Ivan’s imprisonment. Dulcea remained on Phaedos, along with her Ninjetti warriors. No longer needed, she removed the Ninjetti Spirits from her warriors and sealed them within the Monolith in central Phaedos, placing trials for anyone who would seek their power.

In the event Ivan Ooze would be free again…
