You probably misses the point of the arc with Ephemural. The Mask of this world (equivalent of a god and creator of Keidran), that wanted to use Flora and lead other keidrans through her. But she was "beaten", yet her plan worked somehow, Trace and Flora had a child, which was going to be a Savior to keidran, of some sort, if I remember it right. It was imposible before to get a hybrid between human and keidran, but Ephemural bended the world laws and made it possible, as it seems.

I don't understand. I had always understood that humans and keidran couldn't have kids together. Obviously something's up with Trace and Flora. But now it's starting to look like it's just a thing. What changed? Did I miss something magical?
