I can’t remember where, but I’ve seen examples of “Patron only” posts when browsing creators on Patreon that still shows the title. As long as that isn’t a flaw about to be patched, Tom could include (Free on DeviantArt) in the titles of any “Patron only” Posts.

As for what Patreon did they could have just added an 'explicit content' feature that requires a log-in and option changes to access. Super simple fix that could have been applied. Oh well.

I became a Patreon because, looking at the sketches everyday, I thought I should contribute. What Patreon is doing is making it harder for artists, though I can understand the reasons behind it, people just browsing the site should not come across explicit art. And while I would not call much of Toms stuff “explicit” (furry butts and boobs seem fine to me, like someone wearing a skin tight outfit) I can see why some people would. I do like today’s sketch of Peeping Reed, which has nothing explicit shown, but is ginormously suggestive.

That said, Patreon putting sexually suggestive works behind a paywall is Puritan. Explicit? Understandable. Implicit? I need some strong reasons for that. Patreon is running around lighting fires and trying to burn the very people who make their platform a success. of just the people who i watch on patreon fully 1/3rd of them have had their accounts suspended now, with no warning. These are people who make their LIVING using the platform. If Patreon is going to start pulling this crap, these people WILL find another platform, because they cant risk their income on Patreon pulling another random "lets suspend everyone because they might have winked funny" session.
