J'rayin was born as a slave, and she had grown as a slave doing small tasks suitable for a little girl like she was. She was broad up by other slaves, and the life of the slave is all she knows. She finds enjoyment from small tasks she does to help cooking, cleaning, and doing regular housework. She was always good and obedient, and she had spared well from cane strikes. She was quick and accurate on her tasks, and she was getting worries when Masters were looking at her, pointing her, and talking something with each other. J'rayin didn't have any idea why they were looking at her like that. She was doing all her tasks, and she knew she was perfect to be invisible because she was small.

One Morning Slave of the house come to her. He took her out from the servant's area and commanded her to undress her slave dress that was not much. He was not explaining what was happening. He took her to the Masters. There was one stranger in the room. The inspection was quick, and before J'rayin understood what happened, she was sold.

New Master lived far from the city. He had an old mansion that needed small repairs. Despite the house, he was rich but lonely. In the house, he had no parents, no sister or cousins. He was not married, but he shared a bed with two slave girls Naida and Yuan. Few house slaves made daily tasks. They took J'rayin as one of them from the beginning.

From the beginning, the Master made J'rayin work hard. The first and second slave of the house were ignoring her. He kept his slaves naked, and J'rayin had listened to Naida to say few times, "Our men failed us and lost, now we slaves, and we don't deserve anything else than a collar around our necks."

J'rayin's days were running with her tasks. She was carrying water with a yoke, and she was becoming strong. Where ever water was needed, she was called to take it. That was an order from Master Cartok. J'rayin was puzzled why Master was so cruel to her, but she guessed it was just because she was new.

Once J'rayin was returning to the house from mineral spring when Number One hurried to her. She was surprised to see Number One on the road. She was walking to her and said shortly, "Master wants you to entertain him."

J'rayin was scared. She didn't know what it means, but she was guessing what his entertainment contained.

"Don't be scared, Number Three, we will teach you," Naidah said to the scared looking girl.
