June 2025 WIP and sketch dump

Now that the drawpoll post is up most of my work for the month is done (other than the usual Saturday strip of course) so, fuck it let's do another post for "other stuff I did" which this month includes a lot of birthday stuff for friends... and I guess my own as well since may's post wasn't even halfway through the month.

Let's start with that, the first post is a little birthday post for myself, ripping on an old simpsons joke. My husband asked "why did you give me baddie latina hips", along with a pic, a friend requested an redraw leading to the second sketch (as for the thought bubble, eurovision was like two days prior and we had the brainrot). The third pic was a little anniversary pic since we've been married for three years, and the fourth was a little thank you for spending all day making pabellón. My drawing doesn't do it justice, it was fucking delicious.

Then we move on to the birthday posts. The first two are for Kangarube, who really likes big men, ancient languages and always helps spot tangents in my WIPs, I figured I could combine all three. I don't think I've drawn a hippo before so I'm happy to fix that. The bull taking the selfie is Aleph, he's been more confident in his telegram channel . The next pic is Chocolate&Milk's corgi Richard (he just started a comic starring him you should check out). The tiger is DigitSlayer, who was a little sick during his birthday. The pic with the bull and panda with the Scottish highlands backdrop was commissioned by my friend Munro for his engagement (the bf said yes!). The next one's Orion's lion Heracles in a pose that took a bit of work but was a lot of fun to do.

The next pic was for Mayku in what became a sort of impromptu trade (here's his take on my capybara), I made a quick sketch for him while chatting and he returned something more elaborate, so I polished my pic up a bit.

The pic with Mikolaj and the fox was a reply to a comment on my Telegram channel with the headline "Poland's European Bison herd tops 3,000 after 100 years of recovery". Bison tops 3000, you say? My brain lit up.

And finally, I'm throwing in the WIPs and PSD for the pride month and father's day posts. That should be all for now.
