Fairy Tail Episode 21-22

Ive read most of these comments, and the people voting for the dub can be put under 3 categories: aren't used to reading subtitles or just too lazy, trying to push the dub is one of the best out there ( which I agree that its good compared to other dubs) but when 90% of dubs are dog shit this doesn't help push the point that its better then sub. ( doesn't just apply to this anime) and lastly and the biggest one is nostalgia which blinds people and makes them bias ( sub lover and dub lovers alike). I myself watched it fully in dub and ruff was my first time watching it in sub and I can say I've felt the emotions and the funny moments a lot more with the subs. I loved moments in the dub but a lot of the time the comedy felt forced ( sub has its times too) and the dub can feel more like a cartoon then an anime at times but a lot of serious moments can get ruined easily in the dub with lack of emotions and tones of voice ( the sub ofc will have its moments of this all so but English doesn't compare to Japanese when it comes to putting emotions into words) all in all as someone new to the sub for this anime i hope he continues with it.

Know I'm late but I hope you go with Dub. I'm usually a Sub guy but FT Dub is elite imo. The attack names are much better in Dub. Know you might not see this but Erza's Dub VA, Colleen Clinkenbeard, also voices Luffy in the OP Dub lol

I don't have a horse in this race since I've never watched the dub but from here it doesn't sound too bad, at least for the main cast outside of Erza. Also always gonna love whenever you randomly accidentally call Lucy Luffy, especially with Dressrosa ongoing lol.

I watched this 2 episodes to give a try dor dub, but i really prefer the sub i hope you continue with the sub version

Dub all the way for fair tail! Black Clover has a good dub cast too should you decide to rewatch in future.

I prefer the Sub mainly like Ruff said is that some of the Dub voices are really irritating.

Imo the dub is better with the emotional parts and the dub is really good it fells like you’re part of fairy tail also the funny moments are funnier in dub

I think both dub and sub are great. I think the dub makes the series feel a bit more serious. I feel like it maybe loses some of the silliness and craziness I like about the series so I personally, prefer subs.

Pls stick to Sub, I personally cant watch it in Dub. Its understandable if you watch it cause of the reading the Subtitles aspect but I know that it isnt an issue for you. As a german native I just cant stand english Dub cause its really not that great compared to others. One thing no Dub can seem to do is matchimg the Japanese VA in terms of Emotions and overall suitable voices for the characters. Hope you will return to sub soon. Maybe you should have tried it on filler Episodes instead of canon ones to minimize the backlash. Nevertherless keep up the good reactions, love you man <3
