I love black clover but i can't put it in my top 10 anime, i've seen too many good anime but it's probably in my top 10 shonen and top 50 overall.

I like black clover. But in the early episode, I'm kind of annoying when Asta keeps on yelling all the time. But that doesn't stop me from watching the anime.

I think Black Clover got a bad rep after the first couple episodes of the anime. People said it was a copy of Many other popular anime. And they got hung up on Asta’s constant yelling. They didn’t give it a real chance so people’s minds are made up don’t confuse them with the facts. At that point they were looking for a reason to hate it.

Id say personally thats black clover would be in my top 3 favourites possibly number one and thats not to say that there arnt better anime than black clover its just for me it stole my heart from the get go the world the abundance of unique magic, charecters and the cast in general julius might be my favourite leader in anime above the kages and yokai and yami is my favourite sensei, asta is my favourite Mc and Noelle x asta is my favourite ship so yeah black clover is my no.1 by far just because of the story it portraits, naruto wanted to become the hokage to protect the village and prove everyone wrong about him, luffy wants to become the pirate king for a reason i actually dont know, and goku wants to be the strongest and fight strong people. Then there's asta he has no magic is discriminated against and still strives to make the clover kingdom a place where everyone is treated equally where people arnt discriminated for having nobody wrong its to prove anybody can be great and I feel like thats a lot more selfless than most other shonen mcs. so yeah black clover is the goat.

for the random hate the trash taste podcast says it pretty well that shonin fans are a little fanatical sometimes and can go hard on some things that the major fan base isn't as fussed about... love this show tho and it only gets better

I will never understand the hatred Black Clover gets. Ever. I mean, come on, even the manga at this time is so damn good! Easily my second favorite. (Of course One Piece topped that list.) Though, anime-wise, Black Clover is my fourth favorite. After all, Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the aforementioned One Piece are all masterpieces! But I digress. The guys who don't give Black Clover a chance are missing out on greatness!

Black clover is definitely my top 5anime. And its partiqlly because its a generic shounen, but not even once during while i watched it, the tropes and cliche character types, never, felt like they were cliche or rotated character designs. It has that certain charm to it by that.

My top 5 anime of all time (in order) is One Piece, Black Clover, HxH, Dangarompa, Code Geuss. Black Clover is so disguistly underrated it's sad, however with the current Spade Kingdom War arc, popularity has skyrocketed and Chrunchyroll announced recently Black Clover is the #1 most watched anime worldwide.
