Also, on the topic of Warlords Bounties, thats before they get the title, after that they still can get stronger , but tey're not actively going agaisnt the world govt, so the bounty is not increased

So from my understanding and just from the characters who have become Warlords, it's a mix of how strong you are and how infamous you are and or if there's some political advantages for both sides. Like Boa is all three; the Kuja are a well known pirate crew, Boa herself is really strong, and the deal that the Gov't wouldn't get near Amazon Lilly is a political factor.

warlords previous bounties won't represent their true strength cause bounties are preportionate to how much of a threat to the government they are, and they're the pirates that are friendly with gov. That's why luffy's bounty is so high because he literally challeneged the gov. also its kinda in brackets like you see with the prison levels so you have to reach new levels of illegal to get a bounty increase. Luffy would have to do something more clout than ennies lobby to raise his bounty so defeating moria wouldn't increase it anyway fyi. This is one of my favourite arcs cause luffy is already having to be saved by luck at this point but he still has so far to go on just sheer will power

Actually from what I recall Robin was going to be taken to Marineford rather than Impel Down. That bastard (whose name I can't be bothered to remember) who was roughing her up had mentioned that, while most prisoners are taken from Enis Lobby to Impel Down, due to her importance she would be brought straight to Marineford. There she would have all useful information extracted from her (likely through some torturous means) before she would be allowed to die.

As Kay M said in an earlier comment, "okama" is often used to refer to effeminate gay men, drag queens, and transgender women in Japan. Much like the term "queer" in the US, is can be used as a derogatory slur or, within much of the community in Japan, can be reclaimed to be used jokingly or in a light hearted way. However is should be kept in mind that okama refers to specific LGBT groups of typically LGBTQ+ AMAB individuals, while queer is often used to refer to LGBTQ+ as a whole.

This is a great Arc. I've been watching the dub along with this, and gotta say. The dub has better dialogue.

Interesting thing about the sphinx. It keeps saying noodle names, but then seemingly random stuff. All the noodles are japanese words the end in "-men" so when he says "cool dude" = ikemen or "sorry" = gomen, it's actually a pun that he keeps saying things that end in "-men". And then with Saldeath, Ls and Rs are the same thing and come out as sounding like "Lu/Ru" in japanese so when he says his name it sounds like Saru desu = I am a monkey, where Saru is the japanese word for monkey. So it's really interesting to see the jokes we miss because its lost in translation.

For those who don’t know “okama” is like the blanket term for “queer/drag queen/gay/trans” in Japanese. I know sometimes they translate it as “oh come my way” cuz it sounds similar to "okama way" but thats a wrong translation if you ever see it a good example is the Kamabakka Kingdom that Sanji went to. the term "Kamabakka" literally means "tons of queers" or "tons of drag queens." Either translation would work in this case I think
