This episode should be the standard on how to close out a godly arc while revealing many more epicness to look forward to. Togashi’s mastermind is nasty. Simply the epitome of a genius at his craft (except for taking unnecessarily long ass breaks or being too stubborn in at having others help him out with the drawing to speed up his productivity)

If you enjoy this you should really try out Full Metal Panic! it has some similarities to Code Geass while being very different at the same time. Also Sousuke > Lelouch.

Loving your reactions man, I can tell you are really getting into it now. And you might have missed it because it was quick, but Lelouch did give an order to the general and his men that killed themselves. Right when the general pulled out his katana Lelouch said "Die"

Lelouch installed a loudspeaker in the helmet, thats why he sounds like that. It's also to help the viewer differentiate when Lelouch is speaking as Zero or as himself.

I really recommend the dub if that’s something you’d want to try. It has a great dub and lelouchs voice is great

They actually explained why people wouldn't recognize Euphemia. She isn't a public figure due to her being in school for a while so people don't really know what she looks like.

You can either refer to the Geass girl with green hair as C.C, as she is referred to in Japanese(english subs), or in the English dub version she is called C2. Besides that, as of now, her name is a mystery. I don't want to talk about it too much more, but more about this mystery will be addressed in a future episode.

I feel what you were saying about mech animes. I feel the same way. I think the reason code geass is different is the focus isn't on the mechs. They are more of a means to an end in lelouchs story. Where as in mech stories its about how the mechs fight and who is the better mech etc.
