From what I remember, people hated the release animation, it was horrible, look up "Black Clover tv vs bluray", most websites have the fixed animation up now so it isn't bad now. I was reading the manga and on release couldn't make myself watch the anime, the screaming didn't bother me tho.

the complaints with animation are more mid series. I agree animation is fine right now, but it does get really bad, to the point it looks like it wasn't even finished animated. Later it starts to get better again and continues to do so.

btw, they never really explain it but "Wizard King" is a title that only exists in the Clover Kingdom. To the other kingdoms, he's essentially just a foreign general.

The animation just gets super inconsistent and when it drops it's pretty drastic. They still give the right moments better animation though so it's not that bad. It's expected since it was supposed to be seasonal

For me, it was the Gem Clone and the big fight in the 5th arc.

i watched through the end of the reincarnation arc (then switched to manga) and literally had 2 moments the whole show where the animation threw me off

The animation gets worse Ruff, there are areas where I was speechless due to the lack of effort. The first few arcs are fine but the farther you go, it gets worse. However, they do have good episodes where they actually try

From what I can recall, the Wizard King is exclusive to the Clover kingdom and so is the "Magic Knights". I'm not sure about about the other two, but the Diamond kingdom just has an army of mages and refers to it as such.
