I just thought of another thing, in the book “Leia: Princess of Alderaan” , Leia is 16 years old and on a visit to Naboo , she actually wears the dress that Padme wears at the end of the movie, without the headdress which Leia thought was too fancy, to visit former head of security and current governor of Naboo Quarsh Panaka. Panaka is basically dumbstruck by how much Leia resembles the late Queen.

Senator Palpatine - who is also Darth Sidious - Have the Trade Federation invade the planet he represents and have a war - this will allow him to gain sympathy in the Galactic Senate to become Chancellor - The other key point-the title of the song playing with the light saber battle at the end is called the Duel of the Fates - With Qui-Gonn killed - Obi Wan has to become Anakin's teacher, while a good Jedi - this is his first apprentice - Qui Gonn was like a father figure to Anakin and could have greatly help him deal with his attachments - -Thank you for all you do - Another great reaction

His name is Ahmed Best and you can see him as a cameo in Episode 2 in the nightclub along with Anthony Daniels, the person who both portrayed and is the voice of C-3PO, and more prominently in the third season of the Mandalorian as Kelleran Beq.

I mean I can’t lie, I did find him annoying, like I dunno he was too much for me ahah but I’d never want any hate on the actor! It’s crazy how invested some people can get to a point of actual abuse- nuts.

Natalie Portman and her double Sabè played by Keira Knightley looked so much alike in their costumes that Keira’s own mother couldn’t tell them apart when she visited the set. You might notice that Natalie Portman’s voice sounded a little different because she uses two distinct voices for her Queen voice and her Padmé voice which is her real voice and so that the whole body double can work The whole Jar Jar Binks thing is an extremely sad story. Jar Jar was the first fully CG character. The actor who is standing in for him put a whole lot of work and himself in the character. He was praised during production. However when the movie came out, the fans had an extremely negative reaction to him calling him both racist and annoying. It got so bad that the actor considered ending his own life to make it stop, however he has recently been more accepted and received a long standing ovation from the fans. The actor who played young Anakin has stopped acting due to psychological problems, some related to the movie. But he still loves Star Wars.

I miss that kind of worldbuilding in movies even if it is a little weird tbh, she is still one of my very first heroines ♥ The next two movies are a bit heavy and the one after this is a little more odd, bring lots and lots of tissues and maybe be ready to laugh at their expense a bit back and forth enough to get whiplash, they're oddball but they're also smart at the same time it's quite a ride

2024-11-07 20:29:05 +0000 UTCSince you asked, Padme in-universe is 14 I believe, and Anakin is 9, I checked myself some time ago rewatching this 😂 Can't find it on the wiki but she has a really really neat backstory I'll share a little I think you'll like it. Edit to say yup you're right she was a really young queen
