The first 3 are just recaps with also some continuity changes, The fourth movie lelouch of the resurrection follows the events after the first 2 seasons, and Z of the recapture is a follow up to lelouch of the resurrection. Code Geass R1 and R2 aka season 1 and 2 are the best of the series by far. there are some other spin offs, but R1 and R2 are the main story. But you will need to watch movie lelouch of the resurrection before Z of the recapture which will be a new series taking place after the movie lelouch of the resurrection.
