It crossed my mind, but I don't remember any foreshadowing for this sort of thing being possible. So it's probably not a thing.

2026-02-27 13:44:41 +0000 UTCI don't think she really has a long term plan besides kill the others, I'll figure the rest out myself eventually, after all, I've got eternity. Except she's fully lost it, doesn't understand you can't do it all by yourself. Even if she wins, mind controls Celen and Jherica to help, she'll just commit suicide in a century or two when she realises it's impossible.

2026-02-27 03:47:59 +0000 UTCJust realized that Gabriel's plan to get Ibrahim on their side "willingly or not" is probably to kill his wife, no? From his perspective, Ibrahim would do everything for this to not be the final loop. Otherwise, his wife would be lost forever. Now, that plan could also catastrophically back fire depending on Ibrahim's mental state and feelings towards his wife. Idk, just thought that made the most sense.

2026-02-26 21:36:45 +0000 UTCI still dont understand what Liuans endgoal is. Like yes, she wants to be THE prophet. But i just cant see how she can build the regulator without Mirian. Mirian is the one to extend the loop with the gates, Mirian is the one to instruct Torrivol on what to learn (although, thinking about it Liuan needs to know as well, otherwise she could not prepare Akana), and Xecatl is the one to do the spirit construct (and this really cant be copied by anyone, as indicated by Mirian not being able to have a contingency for Ceiba Yan betrayal). Mirian is the one who knows all the Baraculi vaults for the required artifacts (granted, this could be learned in time). Mirian is 10 Archmages in one, doing stuff with the gates / labyrinth the other would take weeks for in days.... And lastly, Mirian shattered Akanan influence in Baraculi, making it impossible to tap those sources for the regulator in time.

2026-02-26 19:57:45 +0000 UTCno... she can't interact with the stuff on Luamin this has been established several times. she was told directly "touch this and I go slap you out of existence" by the unmoored.... Also why would she need to go pluck anchors off Luamin?? they must be removed from the prophets not the impossible to manipulate elder machinery.

2026-02-26 15:52:52 +0000 UTCPredictions: - Mirian kills Ibrahim in battle and has to plug out his anchor from Luamin. - Mirian saves Celer and Jherica and removes their anchors peacefully. - Apophagorga and Ceiba Yan save the day. - Liuan and Gabriel die near the end of the cycle, late enough that there is no option to retrieve the anchors from Luamin in time. - Mirian has two holes to deal with, but only one chtonic needle, so Gaius sacrifices himself to provide the second one. - Liuan and Gabriel wake up in a doomed time loop, alone, with no relicarium around, and with the needle removal spell not working anymore.

2026-02-26 13:48:32 +0000 UTCPeople are suggesting Mir can put back anchors, but I don't think that's feasible. One of the other reasons why this was the final cycle was Xecatl- she's likely not going to be able to mentally make another cycle or two, even if Mir could put back the trees anchor.

2026-02-26 11:35:59 +0000 UTCNooo, just paid to catch up on the chapters and you are telling me I decided to do this so close to the end with so many things going on? I am feeling so impatient for the next chapter

2026-02-26 09:11:15 +0000 UTCShe said last chapter that Mirian wouldn’t be so confident if that was enough to win. Because Mirian is so confident she must have some magic type she hasn’t shared with the others which would allow her to deal with the results of them dying.

2026-02-26 08:22:19 +0000 UTCWhat I don't understand is why Liuan doesnt just kill herself now? With everything we know that would give her the instant win in this conflict.

2026-02-26 07:52:07 +0000 UTCAlso in this sentence "That she, Xecatl, and Liuan still might be able to use remnants of their connection..." I believe 'Liuan' should be 'Zhuan', as Liuan certainly still has her anchor?

2026-02-26 06:57:37 +0000 UTCYou know, I'm not sure why everyone—Mirian included—seems so sure of Gabriel's alignment. Of course she needs to act as if he really is with Liuan, because if she assumes he isn't it would be possibly catastrophic, but the man was a spy and he was a good one; we also know that he's quietly played both sides of a conflict before. I don't think we'll really know whose side he's on until the chips land and the ultimate consequences of his actions are revealed.

2026-02-26 06:56:33 +0000 UTCActually; I don’t know if the other Prophet’s know that Mirian can communicate with Titans. I’m wondering if rather than just Apophagorga, Mirian will have a small cadre of Titans bullied into submission by the Greater Titan, or if… maybe she used Apophagora to travel across the Boundary and acquired the assistance of multiple Greater Titans?!!!?
