"Right now, Prophets Liuan Var, Sio Gherica, and Celen Lineas should be engineering the political turn of Akana Praediar away from a scheduled war and towards a new peace." is Gherica a typo?

2026-02-25 22:18:30 +0000 UTCIncreased range seems reasonable even without increased reach in the 4th dimension. Also increased reach in the 4th dimension might allow more spell pathing options. Potentially bypassing shields etc

2026-02-25 08:48:58 +0000 UTCI have an idea for a bit of brainstorming with other readers, inspired by one of the comments below. I’m not entirely sure whether this has already been discussed or not, but what do you think about the plausibility of this? We haven’t really seen any direct hints or demonstrations of it, but at the same time, I can’t see anything that would explicitly prevent it either. Just a couple of chapters ago it was mentioned that Mirian bound an item to her soul that gives her a near-unlimited spellcasting radius while significantly reducing the cost of range. Why couldn’t the same principle apply to teleportation through the fourth dimension? If you move deep enough into it, distances in 3D space can effectively shrink to almost nothing. Following the 2D-to-3D analogy: if a 2D world is like a sheet of paper, then in 3D you can fold it and bring two distant points into contact. By analogy, 3D could function similarly relative to 4D. So theoretically, if the “depth” of the fourth dimension in their reality isn’t overly hostile, Mirian might actually be capable of global teleportation.

2026-02-24 14:43:31 +0000 UTCThis was in the chapter where Mirian traveled to Lumian. Mirian is capable of extracting all temporal anchors at once, regardless of the other prophets’ wishes, plans, locations, or even whether they are alive. All it would take is less than a day and a single trip to Lumian — to the machine that maintains the temporal anchors of the active prophets.

2026-02-24 14:25:38 +0000 UTCThe betrayal plan is looking like it's going to have a BAD time with a certain Lich. Liuan is going to try to match/beat whatever Mirian is offering Atrah Xidi presuming its financial/ political or applied leverage... not family ties. Also kinda fitting for Liuan that she'd get smug about figuring out the thing Mirian held back for political reasons then promptly get owned by the secret that was just none of her business

2026-02-24 00:27:32 +0000 UTCHmm could Mirian fake them out using the needle. Ceiba should probably go last

2026-02-23 14:44:58 +0000 UTCCan't say I'm surprised by the other trying to pull a fast one on Mirian. They are certainly dumb enough to underestimate her even if they know that she can trounce them multiple times over. They're juste the sad blind fuck that thinks that people who are on the "good" sale of morality are a mix of dumbs and idiots. They have signs aplenty : gods reactions to her, power that hasn't been match by other humans, spear heading knowledge of magic, fist one of both the moons, unmatched dedication, wrangler of leviathan, daughter of the greatest necromancer of the last centuries but nooooooo. She's has decades on them. She's shown that she can prepare, act when she has too, she has put strangholds on relicarium, has ally on their own (what does they think they'll do against Ceiba if they succeed without Mirian ? Why does they think her genius sociology girlfriend hasn't seen them coming ?) and has told them again and again that Divir fall isn't the end of the crisis and they still in the deep of dellusion. I'm grabing popcorns for the next chapters and waiting how Mirian will fuck them (maybe something related to the incompatibility of the soul anchors and chtonic needles ?). I really really hope Ibrahim will not betray the cause even if I find this unlikely. Autor : fucking love this story

2026-02-23 11:26:40 +0000 UTCI’m kinda surprised Gabriel would betray. He’s been my favourite prophet so it’s kinda annoying that he’d honest to god actually turn on her😩

2026-02-23 08:14:42 +0000 UTCnow I wonder if Mirian figured out how to remove the anchors while in the dream. I mean they are housed in the soul and they are only souls within those dreams and she can do magic during those dreams... Maybe she plans on removing the needles of every prophet at the first meeting at the same time.

2026-02-23 08:04:55 +0000 UTCtheir plan is to kick Mirian out of the loop and work on the leyline stuff starting next loop.

2026-02-23 07:31:55 +0000 UTCIt’s similar to Ibrahim’s old ideology: even if there appear to be multiple prophets, there is only one True Super Special Prophet. It’s happened so many times in our own IRL civilization that it’s practically a meme. It also helps that if she manages to keep her anchor, rid the others of theirs and loop, there really will only have been one looping prophet left, retroactively, with the others’ no-longer-looped-in existences only having fed their ascension.

2026-02-23 07:03:45 +0000 UTCi feel like the whole “There had only ever been one Prophet at a time.” thing is kinda out of left field. liuan betraying mirian makes total sense. she’s finally gone crazy after all these decades in the loop. what i don’t get is why she’d say that. she colludes heavily with the church, and i feel like she is also the type to seek all the knowledge she can about the loop, so surely she knows that other loops, like the 6th prophets, had multiple loopers? even then, she’s always been nearby to 2-3 other prophets. it just feels weird.

2026-02-23 06:40:03 +0000 UTCThis is enraging. What the fuck is her plan? She's going to sabotage the leyline regulator and continue spell engine usage? What does she think is happening here? How the fuck does she not just doom enteria after killing mirian?
