I wonder how exactly the range expension works... If it can extend any spells, could it make long range blinks possible?

But if the gods always knew the humans would succeed, is this even really a test? And if the gods know, how do the gatelings not?

2026-02-04 21:23:01 +0000 UTCis our favorite tree pal about to get buffed!? hype i hope we get more foreshadowing about the seemingly unknown ninth god. is the ominian one of the gods in the vault rooms? i recall them not being, so are there 2 unknown gods in there? i also hope we get more about that unknown energy type. is there one type of energy per god? like Yiaverunan could be light, Xylatarvia arcane magic energy, etc. i wonder if we'll ever visit the continents that have yet to be explored. i hope so, but from what i've seen, mirian considers those "off limits" since they aren't part of what the elder gods gifted humans? hmm,,, also, does anyone remember mirian's last myr test? if so, what was it, and what chapter. ty!

2026-02-04 21:16:21 +0000 UTCI'm still confused on the statues. Either Uranium got the number wrong, and there should only be eight down there, or one of the nine is the Ominian. Not sure which it is. The Ninemaw used every energy type but lightning, and the currently unknown type. Curious. A creature created by the Elder Gods shouldn't have any artificial prohibitions on using any type of magic. Was this just coincidence? I still wonder about that final energy type. Mirian hasn't talked about it since she first encountered it, but what if that's simply because she could never find out what it does? What if it isn't like the other types, and isn't something you can use in an attack? It could be a highly specific type of energy, that must be properly directed to demonstrate any effect. So, the labyrinth has been puppeting the creatures this whole time. I guess no one ever noticed, because the labyrinth was hiding its magic in the ambient mana this whole time. I guess this means that their must be ways of using spells in mana suppression rooms, because otherwise, the labyrinth wouldn't be able to puppet creatures in those rooms. But for the creatures with spell resistance, the soul energy is still contained within their own flesh, right? I don't think that is just the labyrinth secretly covering the creatures with its own soul. The flesh of the creatures must have some way to bind soul energy, that both grants the creatures spell resistance, and hides the energy from normal perception. I guess the labyrinth is actively producing and directing anti magic particles, for the purpose of controlling the flow of leyline energy? Not sure I fully understand what it is doing.

There is a lot of design of those specifically to challange Prophets/Timeloopers to gain specific skills. What was the intent building them then? They are yet lacking a proper understanding of what this crisis is actually about and lack insight in the composition of their world. And how big the challange actually is, maybe solving Divir is not the final goal anyhow? Maybe this is about the Gods War?
