FF15 Safety in numbers

YESSSSSSS!! You are going to get SO MANY of my THOUGHTS that you didn't ask for 😍😍😍 Ignis being faced with theory vs reality in the form of one Prompto Argentum is my JAM! I picture Ignis as being highly educated in all kinds of social matters - Noct's liberal and kind, but he's not big on reading so Iggy's THERE with all the answers about gender and sexuality etc I also feel like Iggy would also quietly pride himself in being non-judgemental/understanding of everyone...but then there's Prompto, bouncing around the arcade in a skirt, right next to Noct, and all of that theory kind of takes a lil vacation because Ignis Does Not Know what to do with this. I think he'd be ashamed that his first thought is of the media, Noct's reputation, but it's so ingrained that it's automatic. But there's Prompto, looking as bright and obnoxiously sweet as ever and... what's an advisor to do? I love the picture of them all just meandering around the mall or something, and Ignis can see some of the odd/sneering looks that Prompto is getting and he gets all puffed up and quietly indignant. But then he deflates a little because he realises that he's probably seemed a little standoffish/waspish about the whole thing, even when he's tried to be supportive. He's probably been tense and silent this whole trip as he contemplates Prompto, and how else is Prompto meant to interpret that? Then all of Ignis' noble introspection blue screens, because he looks over and Noct's...dressed like That, and what in the world is he supposed to say to the council? He and Gladio didn't come out today expecting to have to defend Noct from all those sneering, frowning faces that Prompto received. But, oh wait, as it turns out, it's totally different when people of their class do it than when someone like Prompto does it, and then Iggy's back to his silent, indignant seething.
