do you rememeber i was saying after S2
Everyones actually really dismissive and awful to Jaskier
imagine him being like 'why dont you ever defend me?'
'Im broken - your hearts rich because of me'
Imagine Jaskier writing and singing this song
imagine like
'Where are you going?'
'ANYWHERE, Just...anywhere Im appreciated'
And of course Geralt thinks he's being his dramatic self
but hes still like 'The nearest village is a days ride - if you still feel like that then wait until morning'
Jaskier doesnt want to die for his pride
So fine, he'll leave in the morning
And Geralt probably sees a few instances that night of what Jaskier was talking about
Like with the meal being told 'this is for people pulling their weight bard'
and he takes it anyway because thats what he's been doing
Snarking at them
And the next morning Geralt wakes and the dwarves are like 'huh, the bard has left'
'His names Jas-what?'
'His bed roll and his belongings are gone'
'We could catch up with him if you want Witcher, he's on foot - he wont have made that much distance'
Geralts like '....I should let him cool off'
WRONG
Jaskiers a romantic, he wants to be wantedh
