Added 2021-08-06 13:45:17 +0000 UTCI'm getting a lot of mileage out of that first panel hahahaha. I've been watching Hajime no Ippo recently, and they re-use the same establishing frames every new scene, and honestly it works well. Like a consistent 'look, we're here, remember this place/frame?'

definitely reuse where possible!! it's beautiful! and a multiply or overlay layer can shift colours etc for a different mood 🙌
