For this page, I wanted it to end dramatically, so I used the shadows from the bars to make Julien feel more trapped- He has no choice but to take their generosity, but feels like an idiot for getting himself into that situation. I also wanted to emphasise his self-hatred & his perception of how Sylvia & Jerry see him in this page, so the final had Sylvia + Jerrys shadows stretching over him, and 'stupid' written along the floor.
