They've been dancing around eachother and flirting but never taking the step.
Prompto finally works up the courage and this is what happens.
He's mortified and runs before Noctis can even gather his bearings.
Prom is second guessing himself, maybe he was reading everything wrong, he could literally die from embarrassment.
Ignis and Gladio are horrified when Noct tells them what happened.
"I thought you liked him?"

Noctis better put on some knee pads because he's going ot be grovelling for a long time.
"That poor kid, it took a lot of guts to do that"
