First I'd like to welcome and thank our newest Patron, Luney! Thank you so much for joining us!
I'm currently at the midway point between the old city and the new one, and I'm spending the day at my parents house before flying out tomorrow. I walk into the family room, and what do I find framed and displayed proudly but a familiar portrait! It's pretty heartwarming to see something like that. My parents have been and continue to be some of my biggest advocates since I started this comic, even though I know the story and its content doesn't really fit their interests.
I've said before that I would still be drawing Kiva's story even if no one read it, but I can't express in words how great it feels to have the support of my parents and the support of my patrons and the support of all of the other readers who make it feel like a much less lonely endeavor. So thank you, all of you!
Comic this week: Nope. This is the week of travelling limbo. All I have atm is my phone.
Posters: On hold.
Drawing: In my head.
Playing: With the nephews.
Rambling:
I'm not sure where my train of thought is today. I'm pretty distracted by dogs and cats and socializing and I already accidentally lost a draft of this post because the phone app didn't save it and I'm just going to make this short before the nephews arrive and all hope of writing anything even remotely coherent is gone. I'm super excited for how the next few chapters are going to go. There's a few new characters to meet, minds and themes to explore, and... just... a lot more stuff planned before we wrap up Part 1. So thank you for reading! I hope you are all as excited for the story as I am. :3
