Maid CYOA, resurrected abandoned idea

I figured I was gonna be clever and make a CYOA out of it. That way I can drop some details and lore about the workings of The World and also let you play around with it. Two butts with one paddle!

Hmm, it sound like you are balancing business with pleasure equally. It's a well thought out enterprise you have built up. Clever of you to take advantages of both Nancy's and Victoria's personalities, I'm sure that they wouldn't have any bigger issues adapting to your household and way of life. With the extra emphasis on money and staff handling, you are well equipped to handle economic twists and turns. Stable, lasting and with a few kinky quirks, good job!

2022-11-24 12:30:07 +0000 UTCGiven my previous actions, I believe I would move up to Upper Class, as I had Nancy Dvorak and Victoria Smithsonian selected to take care of my house and pry open upper class doors. This combo of grass roots family woman and snooty princess would flavor my general dealings with others like a shroud: we can be fancy, but we don't forget basic effectiveness and simplicity where it's better. By now I feel Nancy would be well acquainted with having to meet high standards and run a household, even while traveling, so I feel she'd make a very acceptable Head Girl, saving me some points there. While not the pinnacle of poise, she seems efficient and knows her stuff about keeping things going without direction and she'd certainly have learned to look perfect having to cater to Victoria's needs and whims and social circles. It also assures Nancy she's not out of a job and is a valued member of the household. By now her husband might even work for me, though as per usual contact remains limited to off duty hours. A Physician is important, for all that traveling we do there's bound to be stress, occasional rush induced scrapes and bruises, and she'd have to keep us up on health advisories, and you of course want someone around to look after routine minor problems like bruised buttocks from disciplinary actions or minor lacerations from cuffs or ropes. It also helps to have someone on hand to tell you when your employees need a trip to a proper hospital, and where the nearest one is that suits the demand. Also, someone to monitor fatigue: in the upper crust a lot of travel and work means people may burn out if not closely monitored! A pair of Accountants would be required, one for business and one for Victoria's... I mean personal expenditures. The former would be there to help me grow my business and make sure our finances stayed healthy enough to absorb market shocks or personnel shifts. The second would be there to add 'financial denial' to Victoria's list of woes as well as acquire goods and services for the girls in general as needed, and collaborate with the Business accountant to make sure my work/life balance was observed carefully in finance so as not to upset either. If possible just for my amusement I'd get twins. A Head Chef would be absolutely necessary, to make sure everyone was getting a proper balance of nutrients and also to help with morale: good food raises spirits, and traveling often unbalances the diet. She'd also get to study abroad so there's plenty of perks for her. She'd be free to experiment most of the time, but twice a week (randomly determined each week!) there would be specific themes to build around, just to keep her on her toes. I doubt I'd need a bodyguard on a permanent basis, and I would handle disciplinary actions on my own (it's good for building a rapport in a small tight knit group to be the direct dominant, I am told by friends who would know!), so no need of a punisher. I'd just have to suck it up and do it myself! I would hire a pair of Artisans, specifically a tailor mostly specializing in laces and fine fabrics and a chemist/alchemist, more specifically a perfumist. As much of my business would revolve around manipulating and expanding on Victoria's contacts and making them my own, I would want her looking her absolute best and never appearing in anything twice, which would be a real trick in a life of constant travel through shifting fashion minefields. A pro literally stitching her up a new dress in the background of a party and the crew's uniforms into relevant local designs with flair would be a must. The Perfumist would tie into my major business aspirations. Travel abroad to all over would give us access through hook or crook to any number of chemicals and fragrances to analyze, combine, and tweak for new markets. A fair bit of my budget would bend towards helping her get trained in magical and technological theories around chemical mixing and manipulation, this being The World and all. After that I would acquire three Menial Maids. They get to handle the packing up, hauling around, helping bored girls and boss pass the time on long flights or rail trips, and other basic work, but they also get to prototype experimental uniform designs and perfumes and have a pro cook dish out new and wonderful meals for them to try from all corners of the earth, so they can consider it a light working vacation on a regular basis, with occasional discipline classes. No sex slaves for now, I'm afraid, gotta get that groundwork laid! Basically, taking what I built before and working it into a dilettante lifestyle with a broad current portfolio of interests leaning into a perfume market and light fashion dabbling, I'd get my business and personal finances set up and use the servants I have for the roles I set them up for previously. I'd look after their health and try to make sure they all had opportunities to expand their knowledge and areas of interest, and make sure they had a generally positive outlook on the whole venture with a solid respect for me as it's originator as I set out to broaden my market and wealth. If I earn the 12 extra points there, I would hire another Artisan, specifically in the development and use of Makeup to accompany my Perfumist's work (with possible magical or chemical 'extra effects' if you wear both a certain brand of makeup and a certain perfume with, such as minor magical effects like slight highlight of fine features or a subtle shift in perfume scent with mood). I would also make room (finally) for a couple Sex Toys, though the roles would be reserved for women who sought to oppose Victoria and we were able to maneuver into a vulnerable position and acquire. Though they would spend most of the working hours of a day as milkable decorative furniture for guests to enjoy the novelty of, we would treat them fairly in off hours and try to make sure they understood that, were we more vindictive, their antics may have cost them far more so this would be a relatively positive working relationship. But it WOULD serve as a warning to those seeking to meddle in my business. Of course I'd expect the maids and others to amuse themselves with them during work hours... why else would they be there if not to act as amusing stress-relief for the day staff?

2022-11-18 11:50:25 +0000 UTCHot damn, I need to build me a slave house! To be honest, knowing me, I suspect mine would exist as a pretty simple middle class household. I'm a craftsman by trade. I don't mesh with high society, but I certainly can find my way around mechanics. Heck, I am 99% sure half my slaves toys and restraints will end up being custom workshop mods. Right out the gate, you know there is an Artisan in my collection. And I am going to probably need a chef slave to go with. Working man needs good grub. With 14 points already accounted for, my happy little home is looking pretty good and kinky already. Thus we have a nice happy little home. Kinky, but able to be very flexible and steady working. And creative. As for how this working classman got the cash, I suspect something involving some of the more fantastical elements of "The World" wandered my way by chance. Managed to play it well enough to end up decently well off.
