EARLY ACCESS // head in the sky

It went through a bunch of different phases and ended up changing the style and colors a few times. I was really struggling with it until I changed the direction of her face and suddenly the image just ‘clicked’ for me! I’ve been flying a lot to travel for workshops, and this image started out on one of those flights while doodling on my iPad. I just love staring out the window and looking at the sky and clouds passing by. It puts me in a melancholy and reflective mood. Any ideas on what I should call it?

thank you! i wouldn't worry too much about how much time goes in. sometimes it takes me forever to get a piece to work, but sometimes it's faster.. it's more about the end result when it comes to finished paintings! this piece took me a really long time because i started over a bunch of times. probably something like 16 hours or so.
